  • Awesome! You did an amazing job!!

  • BEAUTIFULL VIDEO

  • Thank - you so much for sharing! Was everything birth can be!!!

  • This is so incredibly beautiful. Thank you for sharing it.

  • looks painful

  • Im planning a home birth and decided against spending the money on a very expensive birthing pool, What type of pool are you using?

  • i'm probably going to jerk like that while im giving birth too. i just know it lol

  • So beautiful!!! I love how calm your partner is. I am 13 weeks pregnant and am also looking into water birthing our first child. There really doesn't seem any other way to go. Congratulations on a beautiful gift

  • I wish I could have had my children with water birth. I didn't take any drugs at all, but because of my high blood pressure, my doctor felt it would be too risky to have me do it at home. I was so sad because I really feel that I was forced into it. My blood pressure is hereditary,, but I was fit and did everything I could keep it low, but the closer it came to birth the more my blood pressure spiked, but I feel like I could have handled it. I felt my babies were cheated.

  • @Vitaluv Why could you not waterbirth at the hospital?

  • is this porn?

  • Thank-you for sharing this. We are doing a home water birth in October and seeing these amazing videos boost my confidence.

  • That is so beautifull♥

  • Beautiful! i love this video! Congrats!

  • Amazing video. So touching. Happiness for this family!

  • this sooo beautiful! xxx

  • Ha, Newyorkgurl20 made rude comments on my birth video, too! She must have too much spare time, lurking on home birth videos. The husband's joy and laughter at the birth is so beautiful and transparent - may God richly bless your family. Thank you for sharing this inspiring moment.

  • Could you please tell me what kind of birthing tub you used....is it heated?

  • hi im from morocco congratulation for your cute baby girl and you have wonderful husband he help you in you are strong women to

  • You're such a strong woman! Your baby is very beautiful :) And to think, I've been wanting to give birth in a hospital, but after researching natural water births, I think I'd rather go with this option.

  • @LotusMariel "durme, durme" by Fortuna. It is a Sephardic lullaby.

  • Thank-you for sharing this birth video. The song played at the end of the video was very beautiful. What is the piece called? the artist?

  • Th

  • can you cut the cord by biting it ?

  • I have been considering home birth, and thanks to this video I'm finally convinced! Seeing how peacefully your babygirl found her way to our world is just amazing.

Too bad that hypnobabies are a rare concept in Belgium because it seems very interesting. Congratulations with your babygirl, she's just beautiful! And thanks for sharing this, it's so helpful!

  • Beautiful! I am looking forward to my home water birth this coming May, this will be my 3rd hypnobaby. :) You did a wonderful job!

  • Beautiful... and inspiring....thank you for sharing your birth experience...for instruction and support....I will be having my home birth soon too I hope it is as lovely as yours.....((hugs from Missouri))

  • Such a beautiful, empowering birth. You and your partener were amazing, and worked beautifully with your baby to give her the gentle berth experience she deserved. Simply beautiful, thanks so much for sharing, if only every woman could see births like this instead of the awful medicated births portrayed in the media.

  • such a beatiful birth, thank you so much for sharing

  • That was AMAZING!! Wow! So perfectly at ease! I want more and more to do this type of home birth

  • so beautiful!

  • that was beautiful.

  • Wow that was amazing, such a happy positive experience, my baby is due 26th December and although I would love to have a home birth we live so far from the hospital if anything did go wrong we would have a long way to go so I have chosen a water birth at the hospital without any pain relief, I am hoping it will be just as positive, I have my oldest friend helping as she is a midwife and my wonderful partner, the hospital even said he can get in the pool with me. Thank you for sharing this!

  • This vild to ideo was amazing. I want my second child to be born in water. Im 7 months pregnant.

  • THAT was a beautiful birth. I am a doula and Childbirth Educator and I just posted this on my facebook wall to show mothers the difference in a supportive birth compared to American frinzied births. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS!

  • THAT WAS AMAZING!!! Congratulations Mom and Dad!

  • Awh :) born on may 26. That's also my birthday. Congratulations, both of you.

  • I will be having a homebirth in water... thank you for sharing, i had to cry of so many mixed feelings watching this, mostly feelings of awe and amazement. Thank you and have a happy wonderful life together!

  • That was really beautiful to watch. Thanks for sharing.

  • So amazing and beautiful... It brought tears to my eyes...

  • this is beautiful....but how could you possibly feel no pain, only "intensity"??

  • @hannahmil821 maybe what she was meaning is that she was experiencing it and knowing that it was right. That her body was supposed to be working in that way. So it wasn't "pain". She wasn't being hurt. But child birth is definitely intense. I posted my sons home birth as well :)

  • wow if i ever give birth to a child and i'm healthy enough i want to do a home waterbirth what's safer a pool or a bath? and how long can the baby be in the water?

  • Amazing, that was beautiful!

  • i hope so much to have a home water birth but i just dont know if i can do it.my pain tolerance is very low an i have panic attacks easily.i wouldnt want to freak and ruin everything by going to the hosp. but i also never want to give birth in one either

  • @xlemonbrainx Then start practicing HypnoBirthing relaxation and techniques now (or something comparable). Get a really good Doula in addition to a midwife. You might want to look into one-on-one work with a HypnoBirthing teacher. You can do it! But you need to prepare : )

  • wow, was there any pain? this is so amazing. i thought all births were a very painfull, bloody, scary process but i was wrong!

  • Absolutely! The first step to having an amazing birth is learning that it's not some unrealistic fantasy, and that we can give our babies a, calm, loving and gentle birth!

I feel like the best way to begin educating ourselves is to seek out and open ourselves up to other Mommas who have had amazing natural births and can share thier wisdom. We are women, loving, strong, powerful...let us teach each other and walk with each other through this grand journey of discovery and transformation.

  • so touching .....i really wannna experience this kind of labour process if HOng Kong had such method...pity ...impossible here

  • @happyjadie I understand you very well, because for the first half of my pregnancy I was living in Hong Kong, and I could NOT believe they didnt have a different option but only a HOSPITAL birth! I was very sad when I found out about it. I think the Mathilda Hospital in HK allow you to labor in the pool, but you HAVE to deliver the baby out of it. Thankfully, (because changes in our lives), my husband and I ended up coming back to Seattle,(USA), where it is legal to do it at HOME if you want..

  • that was awesome

  • the 3 of you looked amazing together in the water. thank you so much 4 sharing your family's wonderful moment. i don't normally cry when watching this kinda videos. but watching you guys, i cried my eyes out. CONGRATS!!!!!

  • @me42ol0vermc Me too! It was so beautiful that I just couldn't help but cry! If ever I am blessed to experience childbirth, this is definately the way I am going. All the hospitals want to do is fill youa nad your unborn baby full of drug and then do a C-section. So invasive, traumatic and unpeaceful for mother and child. No thank you, I'll pass on that barbaric alternative.

  • @me42ol0vermc Me too! It was so beautiful that I just couldn't help but cry! If ever I am blessed to experience childbirth, this is definately the way I am going. All the hospitals want to do is fill mother and the unborn baby full of drugs and/or do a C-section...cut and snatch. So invasive, traumatic and unpeaceful for mother and child. No thank you, I'll pass on that barbaric alternative.

  • What an amazing birth! Women are capable of SO much more than we give ourselves credit for! Look at what beautiful, graceful, and powerful beings we are.

I am also one of the many Moms who had a similarly amazing home water birth, it's still surreal and I'm still amazed by it every day!

Can you belive it ? Births not at all like the movies. It's one of those things we just have to see to believe.

Thanks for sharing. I'm def. a believer!

What lead you to choose a home water birth?

  • @mynaturalchildbirth What has lead me to choose a home water birth is the RESEARCH that I was doing about the best way to bring a baby to this world. Just that. I think majority of us dont even bother in looking around for options, just because we are SO indoctrinated in believing that hospitals are "the way" to go. Very sad how we, (woman), have lost our rights or believes about the strength that we have to give birth, and just accepting the natural process of it, which is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!

  • This was absolutely AMAZING! You are so beautiful and you did a FANTASTIC job im still young but this makes me want a baby after i have already decided not to have one later in life! Congratulations!

  • I agree with most people here: this was a beautiful video. Además, se ve muy lindo que la pareja, junta esté alllí para recibir al bebé, no como en los hospitales, donde en muchas ocasiones la madre se debe quedar sola por horas antes de ver a alguien conocido, y así tener el parto. Thumbs up! I will do my best to have my children lije this when the time comes. Gorgeous family!

  • mil gracias por poner este video, es hermoso y me inspira mucho! tu niñita es preciosa! espero que algun dia cuando me toque tener hijo, sea igual que esto. felicitaciones!

  • hermosisimo!!!!!

  • Very beautiful family!!! this was an amazing video to watch. Made me cry!!!!

  • That was beautiful. I home birthed our son in water (same pool as you!) in 2008. It was the most incredibly powerful experience I could have ever imagined. Full of strength and joy - and a high that no drug on earth could deliver. Every mum deserves to feel like that after her birth - empowered and ready to take on the world.

  • i loved this video and the pictures at the end was so beautiful god bless your family.

  • OMG this is a wonderful moment and video!! congrats to everyone in the family and may God bless you all...not only the video but the PICTURES were amazing!!! they capture the beautiful moments!!!

  • This is the only video that made me cry...! =] It's the only amazing underwater birth video I have ever seen..!! Congrats to your baby girl..!!

  • Beautiful video- my baby is due in six weeks time and I would love for my birth to be just like this! Thank you for sharing- I cried my eyes out at the end :-) Also I too love the song at the end and would love to know what it is. Thank you and congratulations on your beautiful baby girl x

  • @scarletreduk Congratulations! The name of the song is "Durme Durme", by Putumayo, the name of the CD is "Dreamland", all the songs are beautiful lullabies from around the world. My best friend gave it to me as a present when I still was pregnant, and since then I keep on listening to it all the time!

Best wishes for your birth experience!! Trust yourself and your baby, you both know how to do it :)

  • hi.. thank you for posting this video..i really love it and it's very inspiring...i'm 4 months pregnant with my first baby and also want to have a home waterbirth..just like you, i want it the natural way. but i don't know yet if there are experts here in my town who can assist me with waterbirth. may i ask what are your preparations for home waterbirth??? thank you so much and congratulations you have an amazing baby..

  • @pieaumentar Thank you, and congratz! You don't need any specific preparation to have a water birth. Just that onces the baby hits air, you can't put him/her back under water. If you mean how to set up the pool, just type in "La Bassine Birthing Pool", on You Tube, and it will explain you how to do it. Try to find out as soon as you can about the possibilities that you have in your town, because in some places, (stupid as it may sound), it is even illegal to have your baby at home!!! Good luck!

  • @depatricio ..thanks for that information, i'm overwhelmed..i've searched the la bassine birthing pool, it helps..there's no problem doing homebirth in my town 'cause it's just common here but i'm just nervous 'cause i presume that if i do water birth i'll be the first one to do that here...i guess. i hope you wouldn't mind me asking more questions...^^ how about hypnobirthing.. i guess it's some kind of self hypnosis... do u know any website that teaches it online?

  • @pieaumentar Hello there! I did the course of Hypnobirthing, but they gave me a book with couple CD's as well. The one that I did it is called: "Hypnobirthing: the Mongan Method". I also know about other one called: "The Hypnobirthing Bundle for Happy Hypnomoms and Blissful Hypnobabies". I think they must be similar. Anyway, you can look for them just by typing the word "hypnobirthing" in google search, and see what book do you like the best. You can ask me all the questions you want, ok? :)

  • Congratulations....this was amazing, moving....thank you soo much for sharing...God's blessings

  • How do you pronounce her name? Great video! :)

  • oh gosh, that was so lovely. thank you.

  • A beautiful birth and video. I am planning my first homebirth for my second child due in March. My first was an unmedicated hospital birth. Even though I am not planning a waterbirth, I love watching the videos. Thank you for posting yours.

  • your baby was born on my birthday :)

  • Beautiful birth, make me get chills and tears!

  • Amazing video! I am 14 weeks pregnant right now with my first child and I have been really thinking about doing a natural water birth. I am just so scared of the pain! I really hope I am brave enough to go through with it. You made it look so easy! Congrats!

  • Ewww. Homebirth especially if it is in water

Like this with other people is just gross. Great way for baby and mother and whoever else is in the water to get infected. And there is way more risks. I vote hospital

  • @nenelikefunnyvideo depending on your hospital, you can opt for a water birth there if you like. Many hospitals are implementing them now because of the benefits to the laboring mother.

  • @nenelikefunnyvideo Infections happen rarely in water births because water dilutes bacteria. Also, water helps mom stretch so she is less likely to tear, so no broken skin for bacteria to get into. At home you find bacteria that your body has built immunities to; these immunities are passed to baby through breast milk. In hospitals you find all kinds of foreign bacteria to which mom and baby are not immune.

  • that is amazing

  • Amazing!!!!

  • this video was truly amazing!

  • That was truly Beautiful

  • That is great photographs at the end! What a gorgeous baby you have! congrats!

  • Drug-free and absolutely inspiring!

It seems to be much more relaxing naturally than being poked and intruded by doctors. This was truly amazing to see.. thank you for sharing.

Beautiful little girl might I add. I wish you and yours the best. Congrats!

  • Does anybody know what's the title of the song at the end of this video?

como se llama la cancion que ponen en el final de este video?

  • @paieusuntasta "Durme Durme" es el nombre de la cancion, y es de uno de los CDs de Putumayo que se llama "Dreamland"

  • I applaud u for having a "normal" birth but not everyone is healthy enough to do it like this and there is no reason for people to bash hospital birth

  • @sweetiecatlovr Well, thats why hospital are there for, right? For when we really need them...otherwise, pregnancy should be treat it like something natural, not an illness :)

  • @sweetiecatlovr Many people have many reasons for bashing hospital birth, or at least not thinking it is necessary for healthy women who would rather not birth there. Hospitals have their place but not everyone wants or needs one.

  • that was very beautiful. I applaud you for sharing this experience with so many. your baby is beautiful!!! enjoy.

  • This is such a lovely video. Thanks so much for sharing!! Our first two babies were born by cesarean due to unnecessary hospital protocols and interventions. Our third was a home birth and we're now planning another home birth for our fourth. I am really looking forward to another peaceful, natural labor.

  • Oh she is beautiful! The whole family is. You're both so so lucky. Blessings to you all

  • Simply beautiful, blessing to you and your family. I also hope to have a home water birth, it just feels so right to me, so natural and loving. What a wonderful beginning to a new life.

  • maravilloso! que milagro es la vida! me gusta mucho este video. el padre es tan tierno y dulce con la mama y el bebe!

  • Nicely done! You have a beautiful family. My daughter was born at home in the water May 27th, 2010...also a hypnobabies birth. Congratulations!

  • One of the most beautiful and mazing births I've ever seen. Congrats to you both!!!

  • I am terrified of giving birth...but if I ever do, I want to have a similar experience. What a beautiful clip! Feliz cumpleanos, Papa y Mama

  • Thanx for sharing and why not, this is a priceless moment maaan!!!... Congrats.

  • Wow she was so calm!! - I just had my 3rd baby boy 5 mo. ago and went natural... my 1st two I had epidurals... and I tell you, for her to be that calm during her 1st labor experience is unreal. Bravo! She looked beautiful doing it too! congrats! Enjoy it! They grow up so fast.

  • Bravo mama!!!!! (and big bravo to the video editor, this was beautifully pieced together!)

Lovely name! My partner's name is Anu....how funny :)

  • @alohababymama Thank you very much, I,(Eva),myself did the editing, Im glad you like it!

  • This video of your baby coming into this world and you both becoming parents is so inspiring. I completely agree with you how it is the best way to give birth at home. I am 19 years old and 10 weeks pregnant and have also decided to have a home water birth. You video has helped my fiance and I learn more about the beautiful experience to come. Thank you so much for sharing this! :)

  • @ANGELlovesTIM Congratulation for your pregnancy!! Im sure it will be a wonderful experience!!! All the best for you, and who knows we will have another home water birth video pretty soon, right? hehe! So, we keep encouraging other ppl to do it this way...

  • @ANGELlovesTIM Good dumb ass, and when the baby comes out not breathing, or your blood pressure rises and you can't tell what happens at HOME, ohhh lets see you rush the baby to the hospital and hope she doesnt die.

  • @Newyorkgurl20 You should do your research before making such lewd comments. Women have been birthing naturally SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME, and yet. we are still here. Midwives are medically trained birthing specialists, and are there to assist if anything does happen. Being in your own home significantly reduces fetal and maternal distress. Get yourself educated before commenting.

Thank you for sharing this video... amazing the power that we have as women to deliver life!

  • @drkaciedc Oh of course mothers have been birthing since the beginning of time that is true, you have totally missed my whole point moron, times change, evolution nothing stays the same women have died back then, all midwives can do is CPR and check vitals, but if there is a serious medical problem getting the child emergency the chances are real slim birthing at home, I am not saying women shouldnt, Im saying because it is your choice don't come on youtube saying all mothers should do it.OK!

  • @Newyorkgurl20

Actually you should do some more research. A lot of midwives are allowed to carry medication for excess bleeding, pain, etc. You shouldn't come on youtube talking about something you know very little about. We can now determine if a mother is high risk pregnancy. If so, she is not going to be giving birth at home. That, and clean atmosphere are the differences between back then and today. And no need to call anyone names on the comments of this beautiful home birthing video.

  • @Bethelight311 Oh Okkkkk lets see, scenario 1. beautiful baby birth,no high risk at the moment, midwife present, she carries medication hmmmm,oh no baby not breathing, baby has an unforseen INFECTION, midwife does CPR and uses her special medication to bring baby back? get real, I AM A NURSE RN, WHAT ELSE CAN WE DO? RUSH THEM TO THE HOSPITAL THERE IS THAT WORD AGAIN HOSPITAL......A MIDWIFE IS A RN WHO HAS TAKEN A EXTRA STUDY TO LEARN ABOUT OB PRACTICES I AM THE RESEARCH.FYI

  • @Newyorkgurl20

It's a shame that you are proclaiming to be a nurse. With such a temper (just over the internet), I wouldn't want you even a foot around myself, my family, or any other patient for that matter. Such a shame. The world needs more love, not yelling, screaming, cursing, and negativity. Nobody listens to someone who screams.

  • @Bethelight311 And who gives a rats ass about your opinion? not me.....mind your business

  • @Bethelight311 I agree with your opinion Bethelight311... It's a shame that vile youtube nasties find their way onto every kind of video and spew venom and make people ill.. funny, I thought nurses were suposed to help make people feel better...

  • @Newyorkgurl20 My midwife carried oxygen for me and baby, bagging equipment for both baby and I, syntocinon (pitocin in the US), suturing supplies, Vitamin K, foetal monitoring equipment, scissors for episiotomies (despite having never performed one at home), plus a ton of other things that I never even saw. I am fairly sure she had most emergencies covered. I carry all of these things to my births too.

  • @Newyorkgurl20 Or more likely, you grab the oxygen cylinder and administer oxygen, bag the baby if necessary. What do you mean "you can't tell what happens at home"? I addressed the baby issue, as far as maternal BP goes, Mids carry a sphygmo and can check it, monitor it, treat at home if appropriate and transfer if necessary.

  • so beautiful!!!

  • Beautiful! Congrats!

  • you were amazing!! She is beautiful!

  • you were amazing!!

  • Incredible and beautiful. So natural, so calm and amazing. Well done!!! Congrats!!!

  • What a beautiful family! Thank you for sharing.

  • beautiful :)

  • that was absolutely amazing! could you upload more of your pushing stage? I'd love to see how you got to that point where it was crowning like that.

Besotes!
