  • This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I learned about him from Elvis costello show

  • this would make a good ring tone, if only i had a cell phone.

  • He is beautiful

  • He's a sad genius - but definetely a genius!

  • @michel031257 He's getting married and just had a baby, I don't think he's that sad. :)

  • Sorry, I don't speak english very well... Can some of you explain me what does "I never ever feel from you" mean? I don't know what 'to feel from somebody' is. In other words?

  • @AlbertoN1985 He's talking about feeling his phone vibrate ...

  • @lenoiruk Damn, I thought it was a phrasal verb... I'm a total dumbass! Well, now I see - thanks a lot!

  • AlbertoN1985 - you're not a dumbass, it's a play on words that might be difficult for a non-english speaker to understand. it's used instead of "I never hear from you." very clever.

  • @AlbertoN1985 . Instead of saying "I never ever Hear from you", as you'd normally say, if you didn't get a call, he says "I never ever Feel from you", meaning he never feels the phone vibrate with her call. It's poetic.

  • Thumbs up if nip/tuck got you here.

  • @qaipak1 this and so many other great songs!

  • Wonderful song - did he write it ?

  • ich kann kein englisch, aber ...die Stimme + die Melodie =Gänsehaut

  • "" So call me

    Call me in the morning

    Call me in the night

    So call me

    Call me anytime you like

""My phone's on vibrate for you

    For you ..." !!

  • o....m.....g....

    so good.

He sounds exactly like the recorded song. Amaaazing... <3

  • I never really realised how demanding this song is for the performer until I saw this video. Very few singers in the pop industry if any could sing this song properly. Awesome musician.

  • I can do it....it's not that hard!

  • @caspianviola : Oh i'm sure we'll be very delighted to see a video response to this one performing to the song. I'm sure we'll love your performance. Can't wait to see it.

  • nip/tuck ftw

  • that's how i learned about this song

  • @kvicki Was this in nip/tuck?

  • @Ourfaileddream - yes at the end of the episode when they both have their 40th birthdays. That's how I found it too !

  • Amazing song..

    Beautiful voice..*))))

  • i love rufus wraignwright, so handsme ad such a great singer.

  • He makes me laugh every single time he messes up on the long vibraaate.

  • so simple

    i love it.

  • I remember the first two songs Rufus sang, I was little but about a year and a half ago, I heard Complaint De La Butte and I had to hear more. Now, he is mor than likely my favorite songwriter, and musician.

  • this song was on nip tuck

  • yeah that made me search it...

  • me 2

  • Ditto. Same for the song "Natasha."

  • exactly why i went on here too lol

    downloaded it on itunes too

  • At first I though this song was a joke cause it sound a little weird but after listening ti this a couple times I think is pretty cool and diferent...I really like it and its very relaxing ITS COOL!!!

  • incredible....

  • heis a really great singer imo

  • amazing, makes the hairs stand up on the back of yr neck. nice one

  • When I first heard this song, it haunted me. I had to find out who sang it. Thats how I learned about Rufus Wainwright. This is easily my favorite song of his. The studio version is a tour de force. His live versions have their own special intimacy.

The lyrics? Well... Don't we all feel this way at least sometimes? I do.

  • Many fans feel this is his best song. But with Rufus there are about 40 best songs. I love the line "but I never ever feel from you." And of course the Pinocchio lives. Anyone who's ever waited for a call that never came I'm sure loves this song because at least they know someone understands.

  • completely agree, waynebrasler, this was my favourite, then i discovered he had loads of others that are just as fantastic, but the lyrics still get to me every time

  • Thank you for posting this!
