45 hp to push 1 person along on a surfboard is a joke.a 5hp outboard motor can get a small lightweight flat bottom boat skateing accross water .the engine design is right the size however is overkill to the max.bigger is not better Bob .gokarts dont need 2 ltr v8 engines to go 100mph.
