  • Nice clip from Newman

  • I think Intermountain might have made GN Big Sky Blue F-units too but I'm not positive about that.

  • At the time I shot this video a Big Sky Blue F7 was not to be found. Later Walthers came out with one, which I have. I don't have a video of it on YouTube though.

  • The colors used for the Rivarossi GN Big Sky Blue cars are much closer to prototype than the Walthers cars are but the Walthers cars are mostly accurate models. Appropriate power for the Empire Builder at this late stage would be F7's, SDP35's or SDP45's all of which were in Big Sky Blue. The BSB scheme was one of the most underrated paint schemes there was because it chalked so badly in a short amount of time.

  • Rivarossi/AHM/IHC also offered passenger cars decorated for GN Big Sky Blue.

  • I have looked for this very train, but ot no avail! Where would one be able to purchase this blue GN?

  • @captainmorgan757 Walthers made the cars in a limited run a couple of years ago. Rapido also made them. If you go to walthers.com and do the advanced search, there are still some on the website. Good luck, maybe I'll see your GN Big Sky Blue train on YouTube.

  • lol i want this!!!

  • Solid

  • Beautiful. Is this a club layout?
