Tablets are just a less practical version of an iphone thats more about looking like you'r up to date and with the times than about practicality.They're not better at any of those things on the list apart from e-books, and even that's debatable, they just have a bigger screen.

@JimmyTheKiller i prefer the ipad to my laptop but i agree with you they probably wont replace the laptop for quite a while. but recently my sight was damaged so i find it hard to read my pc screen and i tend to lean in hurting my back. the ipad helps me a great deal at reading text and its perfect for that. but i wont ever throw out my laptop

And excellent video! What I find interesting is that some of these statements were a bit of a stretch when the iPad first shipped, but now make sense. An iPad has always been a great web browser, but the iPad 2 with iCloud is the one you'd want for viewing pictures. But now, at least, we understand Apple's intentions. I love my iPad 2, for the record. RIP Steve!

No we don't, do that on your computer (desktop) and then use I-Tunes and Apple's iCloud.

USB ports are useless because you can access your information via iCloud, documents, movies etc

When you buy an Apple product, you are committing yourself to the walled garden, its brilliant. To get the most out of an Apple product you have to use other pieces of Hardware and Sotware which are also made by Apple.

It is amazing how he brainwashes the masses in thinking an ipad is better than a laptop. an ipad is no way better than a laptop! just the fact an ipad has no memory card slots in which you can upload your photos is one reason why an ipad is useless. there is also no dvd-recorder in an ipad which you can watch dvd videos, an ipad even fail as an e-reader cause it emits too much light which is bad for your eyes. and some app games are better played on a mobile size itouch.

The Ipad was presented as the new egg of columbus but what is so special about changing your wallpaper, browsing internet (multitouch) etc. etc. ? There isnt a single thing being mentioned in this video I would want to use such a device for. The presenter was pretty much a genius in the department concerning marketing strategy and presentation rather than innovation wise, tablets are nothing else than cripled portable personal computers at best.
