your dvd is probably defected try -x, -v , or cpus=1 hope this helps i had this happen when i was running iatkos v5.0

Depending on the programmers intentions depends on what platform the program was meant to run on.

Not what OS can run what, it all depends on the way it was complied in what environment.

Now if was written in Java then any computer can run it as long as it has the Java run-time environment installed.

y wont mine work? I have an HP pavilion DV4000 with an intel celeron m. it has 512MB of DDR ram that is the bar minimum i know also it has a 50GB HDD. so why does it not work...I can get through the entire instalation but once it says system needs to reboot it click reboot. but then it never boots into anything if tryed this so many times and i gotten a lot of diffrent outputs but it never works. i cant even use iatkos to make a VMworkstation system

ok,got through a complete install,but after reboot, i try to boot the darwin bootloader,goes through 3-4 lines of text and then reboots. can't get past that!!!

k, i have a problem with iatkos, i get to the darwin bootloader after the install, it tells me to press enter to select the partition i want to boot from, i press enter, the screen flickers and nothing happens.... help please

are you sure you selected the right drive if you are sure you did try reinstalling it and try again

Well personally I have tried only iATKOS - I used v1ir2 which worked out of the box so I kept using iATKOS. my specs are in the description
