g1 reissue vs original bluestreak / smokescreen

Hi there, I have a G1 smokescreen and on the bottom is printed 'Takara co ltd Japan 1980-1982 Hasbro 1980.1984, so does this mean its an original or is it a re-issue? thanks

They are very popular and many reissues are offering on e-bay.

Even though he's silver I stil prefer the name Bluestreak, but that's just me. The reissue should've kept the same name. Great review!

There is a "Bluestreak" with blue body, silver hood, and yellow horns; but only released in Diaclone in November 1982.

Very nice comparison and review! Thanks. Smokescreen is also my favorite because of his colors, rear spoiler, and different bumper. Prowl is my second favorite. Bluestreak is a very close thrid place. All are nice!

I just started this project of G1 this month and constantly hunting them all. I now have TFC #14 (Hound), TFC #16 (Insecticons) and TF Commemorative Skids. All are reissue. and will try to complete this 2 lines the Takara TFC and Commemorative in 2 years :). I'll be picking up today smokescreen and red alert. :)
