Red Indian? I don't think it's appropriate to call them that. Calling them red indians is equivalent to black negro. They are not "Indians" either. It would be better to say indigenous or natives. I don't know why they are dressed the way they are when they are playing South American native style.

I am Eastern band Cherokee, and Cherokees didn't wear full feather headdress. Only certain plains tribes wore those, and it is very disrespectful for someone to wear a full "plains" Indian headdress if they are not one. I would never dishonor the Lakota, Sioux, Nez Perce, etc., by wearing something so sacred as a full feathered headress that must be earned, not casually worn for entertainment by people who are not N. American regardless of where in Europe they are performing. It's dishonest.

I don't know why, but most of these groups from South-america are playing the songs from "Alborada" and you can searche here on YouTube for "Alborada" so you will find theireal original songs playing...and sooo much good.
