  • OMG I am so sad now. Thanks for sharing I am moved to do SOMETHING. :/

  • seriously what is happening to people these days, after watching such a sad, moving video all you can say is the person didn't do their research. i mean atleast this person is trying to get the word out about whats happening....so stop criticising seriously

  • i want to volunteer myself to help those people in africa but i just don't know how!

  • If..... there is a god this only makes me feel hatred towards him!!!! and don't tell me he works in mistirious ways or that he put it on us bull shit!

  • @infinitelines hey, please do not hate god.god is fair.god gave ample amounts of resources to this earth for the people to use it to sustain their lives.its us humans who are so greedy that we only take into account what's good for us and what's benefitting us.we do not care about the others because we basically are ignorant about them cuz that's their problem.please don't blame on god.blame on humans.trust me,god don't even wanna see us sufferring.

  • Without the truth, there can be no real morality, justice, equality, success, freedom, love, security, peace, spirituality or even survival. If you are seeking the truth, search "Truth Contest" in Google, then open The Present on the homepage and read what it says.

  • It's all irresponsible adults' fault. If you can't raise a child properly, then don't have it in the first place. Don't bring them into this world just for them to suffer. Those innocent children don't deserve this kind of treatment.

  • @drgregoryhaus Amen! But African blacks are just too god damn stupid to have any common sense! they multiple like maggots

  • Pointless! You can give trillions to these people, nothing will change. Investment in deslination plants, water piping and educating them to look after themselves and not continue to breed when they themselves are starving to death might help. I used to give donations, but now I and many others are struggling to keep a roof over head and food on the table and no tax money helps us, why should we contribute more tax money is addition to what is sent? Most of what is sent never ever gets to people

  • @MegaLongshaft

Then fight the corrupt people in your own goddamn country!

That's the biggest problem, you know that.

  • @AttitudeGamesGod even though there is corruption here; if it were all gone tomorrow i would still not donate dollar one to these people. every point that MegaLongshaft made is valid. and you know they are.

  • @AttitudeGamesGod Corruption is global, where there is power, there is corruption. What's fighting corrupt people in my country got to do with the corrupt governments in Africa? You could say that they are linked, but would that cure famine? If it wasn't the corrupt governments in these regions, it would be the ruthless warlords, the militias then the environment. It's a very tribal mentality in these countries, you have to rid that first, you will never fix Africa by just throwing money at it!

  • @AttitudeGamesGod

No, no, I didn't say that this would be the right solution. Not at all!

However, these corrupt regimes have been or still are being supported by govs or organazations globally.

Of course their actions against their own people are cruel and horrible, but did you never ask yourself why Africa is in such trouble?

Unfortunatley, the UN will not be able to give a decent solution as they're often not aggressive enough against dictators, militia etc.

  • i blame the parents..bringing children into a world where they know they cannot feed them and they face certain death...these niggers are too interested in shagging one another rather than thinkng about the consequences of their actions..there is no hope for africa unless niggers learn to keep their dick in their pants!..harsh but true....

  • It is s a SICK world where we live in :(

Rich get more rich, poor get more poor. Some people starve while some people don't know what do to with all the wealth they have achieved and aren't grateful at all.

All people should have the same starting point in life: food, shelter, surrounded by loving people, etc. All those starving people have the potential to become one of the greatest people this planet has known but they don't have chance for that. One of them could even find cure to cancer.

  • @xZOOYORKGAMER This is not scary, this is sad and painful. While most of us here in America struggle with obesity, these kids struggle with hunger and wish for anything like a piece of fruit or bread at least. But why do America is seen as the bad guy here? Its because with America being the most wealthy nation in the world its sad that we r also heading to a famine if this economic crisis continues. Everyday I see more and more people getting in line at food services to get anything to eat.

  • @MsKeliaBaby I understand your point about it but, I'll eat whatever I want whenever I want...if I cut down on food intake where the fuck will the 'food I didn't eat' go? Saving food in my cupboards isn't going to resolve anything

  • They should eat de poo poo!!! hahahahahahahaa

  • The journalist Kevin Carter did actually take his own life due to depression of what he had witnessed of his time in Africa. He chocked himself in Monoxide by taping a hose through his car window and attaching the other end to his Exhaust pipe.

  • Spellings not the best... :\

  • this is not a piss take but if african children keep dieing why do they keep making more of them if there just going to die again

  • @SCOTTISHRALLY13 Ok so why don't you go and provide every single african in africa contraception until they can no longer have kids? huh? All of this all comes down to politics and slavery to me. Why is africa the second biggest continent but yet its people still starve like that? Where are the profits?

  • @78Labelle They dont have the same system of government as we do.. How can u people be so heartless.. Yeah.. it takes a real american to watch a child starve to death! Everyone who wants to justify what is happening to these children should be taken out and tortured!

  • @SCOTTISHRALLY13 These women are raped and also they are forced to ave sex by their husbands who leave them, why do you think you hardly see the fathers around

  • @SCOTTISHRALLY13 BECAUSE ALL THEY HAVE IS THEIR LIVES AND THEIR FAMILY!

  • @SCOTTISHRALLY13 my point exactly...its thier fault there are starving kids..these people invest more time adorning themselves in bangles and beads rather than put food in their childs belly

  • the kid could kill the vulture somehow and eat it maybe?

  • @REEPER000 Are u serious? Take a good long look at the buzzard compared to the child! The buzzard stands tall with a swollen tummy! The child doesnt even look like a human anymore. Hes frail and bony.

  • Id love to just got there and smash them all with a baseball bat :D

  • @robotnik678 hahahahaha

  • Thanks for this video.

  • World is very cruel !!!!!!!! :(((((((((((((((

  • es culpa de la religion de mierda que tienen si comerian vacas u otros animales seria por lo menos la mitad mas gordos no digo que se salven pero si que se alimenten no a las religiones

  • You were "reading up on the fact's of the niger and sudan famine".....

  • @nuworath your point? :P

  • @nuworath officially named the Republic of Niger

  • @TheDarrennewman it aint my fucking problem, just cause thers people starving around thw world doesnt mean im cuttin down on my food intake. bitch

  • i dont mean to be a cunt but the picture at 1:35 is pretty funny as if hes saying "are YOOOU going to sponser??"

  • fag music

  • this song ruined this hole video for me

  • i'm crying while i watch this

  • ils ont besoin que personne ne Comité de surveillance souhaitez déplacer votre âne, parce qu'ils sont égoïstes!

  • im trzeba pmóc tylko nikomu się nie chce ruszyc tyłka ,bo są egoistami!

  • this is disturbing to watch and sad it breaks my heart to see babys like this.one thing i would say and i hope people dont give me bad feedback for this is,if i was as poor as them and couldnt provide for my kids i would stop having them.i dont mean stop having kids forever they shouldnt bring a child into the world knowing that they most probably will die.its always going to be like this unfortunately no matter how much money and aid they get, they should should stop having kids until itimproves

  • @dubman75 I wish these people would think like you but unfortunately they don't, it's like they don't comprehend what the future holds for them. As a Mexican/American I know very well how trully ignorant my people can be by having the highest birthb rates and leaching off of welfare even though they know they can't afford more kids. These poor people on the video don't know any better.

  • @cpadill5 I don't think that a mentally normal Mexican, after watching one child suffer like this, would keep creating more children in the 'hope' that things magically got better. If this is how whole populations think then they need a sterilisation program enforced upon them.

  • "No one knows what happened to the child... the photographer left as soon as the photo was taken..."

    BULLSHIT.

If you had bothered to research the image, your would know that the Photographer chased the vulture away, and that the child made it to a food aid depot of some kind.

  • @Klingschor Actually I did do the reasearch. On the picture it says underneath in the second paragraph "no one knows what happened to the child" These are not my words, thus I maintain the same belief that no one knows what exactly happaned after the photo was taken.

since you seem the be the one exception to that, Can you provide me with a link to where you aquired your "facts"? if you google anything to do with the photo, you'll find alot of websites saying "no one knows what happened"

  • @brayshay

The editor of Times Magazine said the girl made it to a depot, but the truth of this is contested, so in that respect I am well rebuked.

I'm just sick of all this Emotional Blackmail and propaganda

  • The girl had stopped to rest while struggling to a feeding center, whereupon a vulture had landed nearby. He said that he waited about 20 minutes, hoping that the vulture would spread its wings. It didn't. Carter snapped the haunting photograph and chased the vulture away. However, he came under criticism for just photographing — and not helping — the little girl:

  • @brayshay The photograph was sold to The New York Times where it appeared for the first time on March 26, 1993. Practically overnight hundreds of people contacted the newspaper to ask whether the child had survived, leading the newspaper to run a special editor's note saying the girl had enough strength to walk away from the vulture, but that her ultimate fate was unknown.

  • @brayshay brayshay has proven the point.

  • @brayshay

Dont you understand, it's for the same reason so many animals in the wild have so many offspring. To increase the chances that one might survive. We should be grateful for what we have! What would you say to the mother that feeds her child everyday, only for it to die of a cureable illness in the west... she shouldnt have bothered?!?

  • If you really care...do not care

  • This is why I don't believe in god.

  • @Azlaier stfu!

  • Actually the human history is full of repeated crises, violent behaviors, wars and discriminations of all kind. Now, after running on species extinctions we may go straight to our own annihilation in the name of an imaginary better life. The solution? Teaching LOVE & COMPASSION. Today 1 billion people live with less $1 a day. The time to read that message (10 seconds) one child died because lacking food. PLEASE ACT NOW. Franck Renand, President, LOOK PACIFIC. (See more on facebook. Thank You:)

  • Check out "eyes of a dying child" by Accent

  • Wow, I can't believe how ignorant, apathetic and holier-than-thou some people here are. You guys have sex randomly and abort babies even though you have the means to take care of them. You got money to buy condoms but too stupid not to use em. You don't even have the balls nor the common sense to be responsible for your own actions afterwards and dump your newborns everywhere. And you want to talk about people in a country where they can't even get food, what more education or condoms.

  • that`s just terrible , i cant explain how i am feeling now , comparing myself with those children there who have nothing to eat , its unbelievable

thanks for the video man , its the topic that should be discussed more nowadays

  • sometimes this happend due to lack of education

  • Most people that have never traveled out of the country or gone without a meal have no idea what they speak of. I have done both. You think that birth control pills are available? You think the only joy one could express (having a loving sexual relation) should be without as well. The comfort of another individual. We all live, We all die. What you plan to do here that can help or change another persons circumstance (big or small) will be life changing. Don't condemn them. . .Please help!

  • I do agree that people should not have children when this will be their existence. However, what about the births that come from rape? A lot of these children were conceived this way.

  • tell the freemasons and skull and bones a occults see if they help you wake up to the truth people before 2012 this make me sick if only i could help but i am poor and it annoys me cuase if i was rich i would do something basicaly if i was a niger millionaire cuase i am sure there is a few ignoring your peoples problems so sad that evil seems to have money needed to feed the starving

  • @bettany1000 of course the children are innocent, they never asked to brought into this world, the poor things. Yet, it's important to acknowledge that all evils of this world carry a blame, it usually falls to men.Other than blaming them, we should try to take proactive measures to act on it, mere finger pointing takes us nowhere.

  • this really breaks my heart,, I just dropped my mcdonalds laughing at this video.

  • Lads not trying to be smart but you live in a Fucking Desert, the famine dosen't seem to stop you shagging the shit outta each other !! can't be that hungry!

  • @brayshay yea its pretty shitty i work in a resturant and i throw out food like its nothing, huge amounts of fresh cooked chicken, vegtibles...u name it. wish i could eat it .

  • Their parents are to blame, you don't need a PHD to realise that if you have children in a country that can't produce food well, they risk starvation. All the people, regardless of class of the famine affected countries need to pull together, and vow to only have a child once there are means to sustain it. Otherwise they're causing a torturous existence to children, all because they couldnt keep it in their pants.

  • @BVargas78 Don't talk such utter gibberish you ignorant fool, and anyway it's not a case of finding someone to blame, It's a case of doesn't this disturb and hurt your Hearty and soul?

  • @Psikonort i'm no fool, and i'm not ignorant, while you are an arrogant piece of worke to consider yourself to give others such labels. All i want is to find a respite from such horror, it's awful By blaming the parents and highlighting this, others may not rush to hav e children in famine prone areas.

  • @BVargas78 For Gods sake these people have nothing, where are they going to get the resources for the infrastructure to run Birth control clinics. The real damage is by our governments & their dirty tricks services that destabilize any government that wont let them have their raw materials for rock bottom prices.Due to the insane power the Global multinationals have over our political leaders. Business has no room for morals, ethics, or starving children (unless we the customers demand it)

  • @Psikonort the governments, greed and corruption don't help, but even with the best, most well meaning government, a famine could happen. The land we live gives, but what it gives is not infinite. For the record i think aid to help these poor people is a good thing, people never asked to be born. But smaller populations, all over the world (not just famine prone areas) would go a long way to alleviate the suffering of mankind.

  • @BVargas78 I'm sorry, I understand exactly what your saying concerning Finite resources only being able to meet a finite Market, Yet our countries promote the madness of the Consumer society i totally ignoring these simple laws.,.I don't think you are aware of the Political & economic depths of depravity that our leaders have pursued purely for greed & at the cost of the third world. Two thirds of the worlds population live in a state of legalized slavery forced onto them by OUR governments.

  • @BVargas78

There are a few problems here:

    1) Women may not have the right to refuse sex.

    2) There might not be access to birth control. Even in rich nations with easy access to birth control there are still plenty unplanned pregnancies.

    3) In countries plagued by war and famine, rape can be very common.

    4) There's little social security in poor countries. Thus, parents have lots of kids and hope that at least one can care for them when they're old.

    5) Famines can happen suddenly.

  • @BVargas78

they are terrified because if they grow old there will be no one to look after them.

the money system is to blame as it has eliminated community and set people against each other.

money is used to justify murder.

  • @planktonicorganism True, what these people need is a revolution, a new order where people help one another out. Even so, family planning would still be important, the terrain and climate in many of these countries is unforgiving, agriculture inconsistent. A smaller population is easier to cater for than a big one.

  • ok, so tell me. Why should i miss out on a steak supper???? Whats benificial for me or them????? @brayshay answer me, somebody answer this.

  • @quadshow Nobody said you should miss out on whatever it is you chose to eat, The message was just don't be wasteful and take more than you can actually consume.

By alll means eat whatever you want, I myself wouldn't turn down a steak dinner :D I'd just not take more than i can eat and end up throw it in a bin.

  • @brayshay If i saw a child laying on the side of the road near death i would do whatever i could! They are people just like us! We take so much for granted as americans! A sandwich to us is just that.. a sandwich. To them its the line between life and death.. Those children are so much stronger than us! maybe not physically but mentally those children fight for there lives!

  • @quadshow do you really feel as a human being you even want to think about a steak after watching this think you miss the point instead of feeding your probably fat face with a nice 22oz steak donate the money and let someone have 2 weeks of rice instead people with your shit attitude is the reason these people starve you can pretend its not your problem and have your steak have large chips with it and with a bit of luck your choke on it! its all our problem all of our responsibility

  • @quadshow You have food! They have nothing! Missing out on ur oh so precious steak dinner could save a childs life u selfish self absorbed motherfucker!

  • this world is sooo corrupt by useless governments & greedy bankers... it doesn't have to be soo unbalanced if power was given back to the people... change is coming.. & hope is on the way

  • I hurt when I see all those babies suffering it just kills me when I see people waste food because they don't know how damn lucky they are if only they could see what I saw on this video. My heart goes out to the people who need us.

  • Aww i would buy a lot of food with every single dollar i have to give to those kids. Thumps up if you should do it 2

  • no words could ever comfort anyone who see's such huriffic preventable suffering, no wonder the photographer couldnt cope

  • The conditions under which Kevin Carter took the iconic photo are not as describe. The food truck had arrived and the adults left the children and made their way to the truck to get aid. The children where crying for their parents. Moments after Carter took the photograph the bird flew away.

Great video though, well done you.

  • Right now i am so broken hearted. Shame on us.

  • Empathy will blind those who who strive to evolve.

  • Often, however, as a result of the irresponsible help from aid organizations from industrial countries, diverse peoples of Third World countries are flooded with provisions, consequently no more farming of foods is carried out by those receiving these foods or, if they do still grow their own foods, they can no longer sell their products because their own production is far more expensive than the foods which are brought in by aid organizations from industrial countries.

  • @JavierVMaldonado

  • I have no words

  • Makes me think about how we waste so much food that could be used for these children

  • HAWT! Crunchy African kids.

  • How I wish I could have REALLY help them. This is really difficult to take in since we now realize how cruel life is. When we said, "I have the worst life ever." Do we really mean it? Well, let's think again. 'Cause at this point, our lives are still great.

So what we can do for the meantime is to pray to God. Prayers change things. :)

  • 0:51 OMG! I'm so sorry! :( Just for seeing that , I'm gonna fast for a week.

  • these pictures scare me.... people can really get that skinny?

  • The numbers are shocking, the pictures are overwhelming, these kids need clean water, a great family, love, care and to these children and their family im prayiig for these people...and abt tht little boy aht the end that was so sad i kinda think that the man that commited suicide was kinda krazii bt ii kant say tht kuz im so sensative ihf i would have saw that then i would have attempted the same thing

  • omg thiiz ihzz soo sadd!! and ii told god juhz now that if ii had tewh give uhp my life to let a child live theres i wouldd..ii love yung kidz...nd i enjoyed this show..it aktuallly made me wanna turn my life around

  • OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • look at the state of the world. eating competitions while the world starving?

over 40 billion dollars a year get spent on arms, when what these people need is that money for food. The worlds needs to get its priorities in order.

  • no offence to them but why dont they do something about it! us well fed countries all started off the same, and we decided to build and make out lifes better. there not trying!

  • @TasteTheRainbow29 it's not their fault. the American gov't. is very corrupt and doesn't allow small poor countries to use their own crops ,they have to buy US trade food and they can't afford it. they have a poor environment and no water for crops. here we did not decide to build and make our lives better - the US gov't. killed all the Indians and stole their land so whites could live off the fat of the land. it's not africa's fault.

  • I don't understand why they give birth in this world. How could they put there child in this position.

  • @Arhaanbehl it's not their fault. they don't have a choice - no birth control and religious restrictions, they probably don't have abortion clinics there if they don't even have food.

  • This is horrible. sick. very impacting and shocking...

  • That was so sad...

  • ay shacks....

  • scary pics

  • The numbers are shocking, the pictures are overwhelming, but you didn't get the message across. Just because you eat less food, or eat just the right amount won't solve famine. Instead we should be using the money on things that we don't really need to help organizations that are doing their best to supply ration and clean water to these children and their family.

  • everytime i eat , im always wishing i could share and send fod to this people

  • Hi Brayshay, I am a director in a financial services company, and would like to set up a charity that could help such tragedy directly. Can you advise in anyway how to do this - have you had any involvement in such thiings in the past, or can you refer me on to someone that has had involvement. Thanks

  • Comment removed

  • God Bless them all!

  • so i think i get what this video trying to say... dont cook more than you can eat.... its just rude to waste food when so many people cant have it.... oh yeah the one at 3 minutes isnt even real lol... watching this just makes me want to go make a sandwich and throw it in the trash... just because i can... anyway on a positive note atleast theyve got aids right?

  • If the average American is eating about 2175 pounds of food per year then this is close to 1 ton per person per year. If They are wasting 48,000,000 tons then this would be enough to feed 48,000,000 people not 24,000. That's what made me really cry. How avoidable this is yet still we just watch. One could be mistaken for thinking that some powerful people with there eye on a new world order want to lower the population on the planet to more easily control and police it through implanted RFID.

  • Song?

  • Enigma - Return to Innocence :P

  • mmmmm...

    tasty children...

  • I've heard that every famine/drought from the 1500's onward could/can of been avoided by that nations government.

  • If Ethiopia can afford billions of dollars to shop for arms & wage wars against it's people & it's neighbors, Ethiopian can certainly build dams to conserve rain, buy generators to pump & distribute water & tractors to farm it's lands.

If the DESERTS of Egypt & Sudan can be farmed from the Nile river, sourcing in Ethiopia & feed the Egyptians & the Sudanese, Ethiopia should use the same NILE river to feed it's people.

Too bad, Ethiopia is more consumed in waging wars than feeding it's people.

  • genoclown: the world would be better off without people like you

  • omg this is sad. GenoClown...sucks to be u in 100 years.

  • genoclown ur a cunt dont even take the piss u fucking idiot

  • :) I'd eat a Big Mac in front of them. Or buy a Mc Donalds and guard it with heavy security and have anyone who tries getting in shot. Lil' bony babies are the cutest thing.

  • I like this song...this is really sad

  • LAME! We've seen it before. We should all feel bad for eating food just because others don't have it. Therefore, someone needs to show us YET ANOTHER video of black people (why always black people?) starving in a 12th world country.

WE ALL KNOW THERE'S A PROBLEM! STOP REMINDING US! WE HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN! WE JUST DON'T CARE! GET IT?!! GET IT??!!!

I'm still stuffing my face tonight. You know what's funny? YOU'RE GONNA STUFF YOUR FACE TODAY, TOO! I guess I should call you evil now!

  • Its always black people because Niger is populated by blacks and so is most of the starving African nations.

  • Comment removed

  • All that food thrown away...Or fed to farm animals.

  • We feed farm animals so we can eat them later...

  • @Feomathar007

    What a waste.

  • Food=animals and grain

grain given to animals becomes our food later...

  • @Feomathar007

Meat = FAR LESS food for humans, period.

  • Hard Hard ! but thigs are changing here in Africa

    Jean from Africa

  • i wish i could give but i dont have much to give to them :(

  • It's sad to know that at this day in age theire are so many staving people out there. The only reason no one stepped in to this is because the country had nothing to offer in return. Really sad! I am ashamed to be a Canadian and have my country not help. I donate and I hope that my money does go to the food and health care but knowing the dictatorship of some of these countries, probably not. How could a goverment try tp keep their people down?? I guess it's all about fear and control...sad...

  • Thanks for posting this. I do wonder though, about the little girl at the end, why didn't the photographer just pick her up and carry her to the UN camp. I know she would have died regardless, but to just be cradled in someone's arms...this brings me to tears.

  • msgloomyeyes , I was about to say what you said...I think the photografer could have done something too :(

  • there are a lot of wealthy countries n why this people are not given even a single basic needs

to change our life into fair living!

  • this is the reality ...and so many don.t think of it... they think at where to go in holiday, at clothes and so many aninportant things and in another place on earth so many children die it.s realy sad.
