here's a quick theory on why and how they gave it to diaz..... Maybe they were thinking morales is washed up already, but they somehow need to put him in good use without telling him how they feel about his career. Diaz is looking like a good prospect, so how should they raise his stature up even more? By fighting morales in his home town hoping he would put up a good enough fight, so they could give it to him even if he was really losing the bout. Pacquiao walked through him though. lol.

diaz might have won some rounds but they were all in the late! morales won majority rounds early! so its still points ahead for morales! even thou he looked like beaten up but in the late rounds the fact morales hasnt hit the canvass its only a 10-9 for diaz! and we all know morales won most of the round! besides the score in all score cards had to be 10 - 8 for morales in the first round! which some judges only scored a 10-9! those are issues which kills this sport!

You obviously dont know the rules when it comes to scoring a fight. Just because there is a knockdown doesn't mean the round has to be scored 10-8. Diaz was clearly winning the first round until he was dropped, so 10-9 is the appropriate score.

I just watch Pacquiao/Marquez fight last night and it was a very good fight. i am a fan of pac man but i tell you, if pacman did'nt knock him out on the 3rd rd, it could have gone the other way. marquez outpunched him but the quality of hits/rounds was pacmans'. they are both true champions and neither one backed down till the end. with the upcoming Pac/ D.Diaz fight, i beleive pac will prevail based on his power and gained maturity (more disciplined) of being a champion.
