Origins was really good imo. I like how the have made this new mythology around the x-men with the films. On to Watchmen. This movie, is the best comic book movie of all time. For those of you who don't really understand it. Just look at it this way. When the writers came up with Watchmen, their main thought was...."What if superheroes were real" Not the Superman/Batman types but if you had superpowers would you not just use those powers to MAKE world leaders listen. I absolutely loved it!

You sir put out a great review for Watchmen! It did blow X-Men Origins out of the water! Blew any Marvel movie, personally to me out of the water. Tied in with Dark Knight, a little better sense Heath Ledger's Joker was really the only memorable thing from that movie. But once you get into the comics more and more, the movie only get better. And I also can't wait for the DVD, 4 hours? I heard an hour but not 4. I hope you're right though.

If you're looking to read the watchmen comic books then you're in for a treat. The comic book or graphic novel captures certain moments that the film does not allow the viewer to experience. I will definately be getting it on DVD if all goes well. The ending ... not the same as in the comic book but it works nevertheless. I liked it. Those 'fans' who had read the comic book but came away hating the film are just idiots. Most of the film was true to the book. Even the some of the characters...

Nooooooooooo. I heard from my mum when she went to see Watchmen. It had completely disgusted her. The contents of the movie as she said it was so severe, she thought the movie should have gotten an NC-17. She didn't mention Dr. Manhatten's junk when describing it though. She mentioned the rape scene and how they actually show the beating and the raping in such detail that it looked real. That, and she thought the guy with the face was the only good super-hero.

All in all, no way, man.

i still like dark knight better. the watchmen had just few scenes and parts that made the film not as good. the TOOO LONG ending, sex scenes. if they just stayed with the comic for the end. no squid was better but just try to make it similar even without the squid. and the 10 min sex scene could have been sth else. something useful to the story. and the movie could have been 3 hours and 25 mins and the movie wud be MUUUUCH better and would be exellent

I'm a comic book fan but I will be completely honest I will never see thi film. My best friend went to see it and he hated it. He would've left before the film even finished,but his friend was with him. It goes against the code of superheros.Most of the 'heros' are bad and the one good hero dies.Plus you see the blue guy's junk for the whole movie so my friend warned me don't see it.And I intend to take his advise besides that I don't really care about Watchmen.

Thomas Jane sucks, and he wasnt in punisher war zone because he never liked The punisher... thats right.. O_O

Then they had to change the story, the name of the movie, and choose a different actor. What a prick.

I never read the Graphic Novel either, but I do admit that the movie looks very interesting. I didn't think this was published by DC though. Appearantly it is. If it's a good movie then I always want it to be longer, so a four hour DVD movie would be pretty cool. The only gripe I have is that Owl guy kind of looks like Batman. I'm interested in buying the Graphic Novel now too, although I'm not going to spend 300 dallors on the thing.

I saw the motion comic before I saw the movie. So it was great to see it on the screen. they cut alot of small shit and changed the ending. But it really was almost 100% close to the comic its the closest you'll get to a comic turned into a movie EVER.

Man you did Watchmen proud! This is the best novel I have ever read. It is on Time magazines top 100 reads of all time. Everyone needs to see this. The movie was written and would have been over 3 hours if they included everything. If you've read the novel they are doing Tales of the Black Freighter animated. Storm this is so far my 2nd favorite video you have made and if anyone has any questions about Watchmen I have read it over and over there is nothing I dont know. 5Stars keep em comin!

he gets the mask from working at a women's clothing manufacturer, it's a special material with a layer of fluid between two other layers of material that shifts as the body heat of the person wearing it shifts (something like that) . So some lady orders a dress made out of the stuff and hates it, doesn't want it, so Rorschach (still normal Kovacs at that time) takes it home and makes a mask from it.

I wouldn't put comic book movies against each other. I think dark knight and watchmen should be viewed on how good they are by their own uniqueness and not which one is better. and i agree stormsink shouldn't downgrade the new Wolverine movie.
