  • johnnie walker blue is overrated, just my opinion i like the green label

  • we have prob 20-30 bottles of Makers Mark in the cabinets but when I turned 21 I poured a glass of Famous Grouse, I'll prob never drink Bourbon again xD too bad that is our ONLY bottle of Scotch, I need to find an ABC store I heard single malt is better than blended ?

  • @109367

Yeah I think so personally. Single malt is only made from barley and comes from one distillery, blended has grain alcohol in it and may come from many distillerys. Blends are for getting drunk, single malts are for sipping.

Heres some single malts I like:

    Talisker 10

    Ardbeg 10

    Laphroiag Quarter Cask

    Lagavulin 16

If your just getting started in single malts I recommend Glenfiddich 12 or Glenlivet 12. They are good value for the money, not too complicated and just yummy.

  • @Equity213 Thank you dear, I'll write those down

  • @109367 The Famous Grouse is a crap Whisky

  • Too much ice in that scotch...Oh well - if that's how he likes it then all the more power to him.

  • @FMichael1970 I stand corrected - only 2 cubes.

  • its walker blue or black

  • Johnnie Walker Blue Label

He was drinking it in the blue collar tour

Plus Black wont make you penny less, Blue will!

  • Darn just came home from work, late night, then looks in the cabinet and:

WTF NO MORE WHISKEY! GUNNA KILL MYSELF!

  • @madsensahl

Pfft, anyone that likes Whisky has more than one bottle in their shelf.

  • It's probably the cheapest gut rot you can find, like cheaper than Jim beam, like If it was any cheaper it would be home made redneck stuff

  • @Justacuase18 Cheap? You don't know cheap. Jim Beam is decent. McCormick's is probably the cheapest whiskey. Johnnie Walker is blended and aged for a good while. Hardly cheap...

  • there was a chief in the navy who'd throw down a shot, screw up his face and shudder, take a big breath and say "boy, thats good.!" sometimes i'd run into him

outside, doing that and ask if it was good why was he screwing up his face and

shudder.... oooo the names he'd call me. he was one of the best. it was a privilege

    to serve with him.

  • JIm Beam. He's such a redneck.

  • Blending is a cheap fix for poor distilling. Single malt: get it right the first time.

  • @ResponsibleGunOwner

Actually blended is a much more sophistocated taste if it is made right.

  • @BigBaldAndBadass

Sophisticated my ass. Cheers, if a blend is what you enjoy, but only group thinking sheeple actually believe a blend is more sophisticated than a single malt. Single malts celebrate individuality and unique character!

  • @waltja26

It is how the malts are blended that if "done right" make a sophistocated scotch. They are added in specific amounts so that they play off each other. You should do a little more research before you start throwing your sheeple catch phrase around here.

  • @BigBaldAndBadass You're an idiot. Not all scotch/whiskey is blended. Anyone can research a topic for 5 minutes and post a YouTube comment and think they know what they're talking about. The real enthusiasts are going to point and laugh. That being said, I support all scotch drinkers to become knowledgeable about their choice of drink. If you're new/relatively new (2 years is still relatively new) don't be ashamed to say, "I'm still new". What you can learn with that is incredible.

  • @FatFattyFatFatFatty

I never said all scotch is blended. Learn to fucking read and comprehend.

  • He's drinking some fine blended scotch. Even the lower end JW labels like red and black are pretty damn good. Puts shit like Jack Daniels to shame.

  • See I was confused as to how he meant it- either A. they will die penniless from the cost of the whiskey or B. those who are penniless would drink it because it's cheap enough. It's all in the syntax!

  • @MNRiley1980 Likely the former. He said it was good.

  • Cheers BABY!!!

  • i saw him at foxwoods some time ago. at the begining of the show he was clean and neat. by the end of it his hair was all fucked up,he was shitfaced. he hung around the bar for a while. me and my buddies went up and told how much of a funny shit he was. he told us a few more jokes and made fun of my buddy's ed hardy shirt. He had to leave (we saw him later at another bar in the casino) so we all shook his hand. real nice guy. I asked the bartender what he had and he said JW Black Label.

  • TheDolph66 is right it's Johnny Walker Blue Label. He did a show in my hometown and had the bottle on his chair.

  • @kissmy9mm

Ugh Blue Label is overrated. Green kills it.

  • Comment removed

  • blue label

  • Balvenie 21

  • so long as it isnt that cheap shit make jack Daniel's which has just ruined the real taste of whiskey

  • IT'S APPLE JUICE

  • he drinks expensive tea

  • Nah its Ron White I bet He's drinkin single malt

  • ice tea....nobody will put that much whisky in a glass.... at leas someone who know how to drink it

  • Whatever he is drinking he isn't paying for it. Entertainers of his caliber have riders in their contracts that specify in detail by brand and quantity what food and drink will be in their dressing room and backstage area. These items are supplied by the venue.

  • Scotch was my drink. My daddy once told me that once you develope taste for scotch there is no going back..and it's true.

  • You drink drink scotch on the rocks

  • It's too dark to be scotch;it's tea.I have drank so many different scotches over the year's and none are tea dark except for those that are cask aged past 30 year's and he wouldn't just bottle it and carry it on stage because the bottles that age start at $500.00 low and go wayyyyy up.Johnny Walker blue is the most over priced bullshit ever;it's still blended whisky and it's light piss color shumrules1.

  • @blitzspeer right. he wouldnt do that to a 500 dollar bottle.. but yet he clearly said its the kind that ppl drink that are gonna die penniless.. saying its worth alot.. and im sure he has plenty of money to do that... u sir.. should put down your drink and call it a night with that kinda thinking.. just cant fix stupid ;)

  • @blitzspeer No, it's probably a Macallan. He has a fondness for Macallan and their 18 Year Sherry is about that color, or their 25 if he decides to go ritzy. Johnnie Walker Blue is only light because it's got grain whisky in it which is typically aged in >third fill casks which impart some flavor and extremely minimal color.

  • @sspolv non chill filtering also has a bunch to do with color. You can get a heavy malt (a Glenlivet Nadurra) for example) and it will be Pale yellow and still have a great age / hell of a kick.

  • @blitzspeer

    right folk

  • it's tea idiots

  • Its Johnnie Walker Blue 18 years old cost over 200 per bottle.

  • It's good though.

  • It's good though! Rofl

  • Why do people quote what he says and then they get a ton of thumbs up? I don't get that lol.

  • the only reason to sit through the other hacks.

  • didn't know tater salads drink whiskey!

  • Probably Clan McGregor.

  • Well if people that drink it are gonna die penniless it has to be better than J and B or Chivas;I think it's probably like McAllan or Glen Livet haha ya know single malt not blended.

  • @blitzspeer you forgot glenfiddich. i just had a 15 year old. damn great. doesn't compare to other whiskey. cheers!

  • its JWBL

  • I like that chick that says * there yu go* when he pours a full glass

  • he said it was scotch at the beginning

  • so is it scotch or whisekey? got to admit that chivas regal is my all time favorite...

  • @RaiderFunk Scotch is a type of whiskey--as are bourbon (Jack Daniel's, Old Grand Dad, Wild Turkey, etc) , Canadian (Seagram's V.O. or Canadian Club), Irish (Bushmill's, Jameson's), and American whiskies (Seagram's 7 or Crown Royal). Hope that cleared things up.

  • @scrapingteeth Crown Royal's Canadian blended.

  • @FreshNostalgia

crown royal is canadian whiskey... you are probably thinking of chivas regal blended scotch whiskey.

I suspect he's really drinking an old mccallum, or possibly a glenlivet green or blue label. possibly highland park 18 (recently elected the best spirit in the world)

  • @hermungus Right, he said it was american whiskey.

  • @FreshNostalgia

scotch. didn't hear 'american' in there anywhere. besides, since this conversation, I noticed in a different vid that he poured himself a johnny walker black.

  • @hermungus No man, not Ron. The dude I replied to. But whatever its irrelevant. Nice observation on the Johnny Walker though.

  • @hermungus chevas royale

  • putting ice in scotch "denaturate" the product and it suddently losses his personality (wich is the reason why you pay extra $)

anyway in french we say Vivre et laisser vivre

  • @mazora2 thanks so much for your eloquent discourse on what no one gives a fuck about......(smile)

  • @BeauJames59 people do care.

    (no smile)

  • he drinks johnie walker blue label scotch. the pennyless comment is in refrence to its $200 a bottle price tag.

  • @bigfootgunot HEY I BOUGHT SOME JOHNIE WALKER YELLOW LABEL DOWN IN TIAJUANA, AND IT SAID IT WAS 2 YEARS OLD?? BUT I WAS SURPRISED TO FIND OUT IT WAS REALLY NOT EVEN SCOTCH, BUT WAS ACTUALLY SCOTCH FLAVORED MALT LIQOUR!!!

  • @bigfootgunot I have only found the "Blue Label in one Conessiour Liqour Store in a vault only the President had a key to open, and they were asking $600 American Dollars for it!!!! So if you can get it for a couple of hundered dont contact Ronny just give me a ring!!!!!

  • @bigdognkat im in the airforce and they sell it at the bx for $124 a bottle.

  • @bigfootgunot If you have some more at that price??? DO NOT!!! Tell Ronny just give me a ring Ill take it off your hands Blue Label is going for around $600 a bottle in this neck of the woods, and thats in American Dollars!!!

  • @bigfootgunot A PS Love your Name I understand the Bif Foot ", But whats a "Gunout"???

  • @bigdognkat bigfoot was mynickname in highschool. i was 5'2 with size 12 feet. and gunot was an anti G-Unit campaign that i no longer support.

  • Probably some nigger ass Barretts shit

  • Haha, "It's good though." Hahaha, thanks for posting this, Ron White is the best..!!!

  • Glenmorange

  • Glayva

  • I love how he smokes a cigar, and drinks scotch in his shows.

  • dam if it were good scotch in there, thed be no ice in it

  • You can have good blended scotch and you put ice in blended scotch. But great scotch is single malt and single malt goes straight up daddy-o.

  • Amen to that my brother scotch is like a fine woman, ou have to warm her up a bit before enjoying.

  • cheers folks

  • glenfiddich is over rated. try aberlour

  • I'll give it a shot (or, rather, a snifter, but, um, you know what I meant). It'll have to be pretty unique to overtake Laphroaig as my favorite, but if it's better than Glenfiddich, I'll love it regardless.

  • Glenlivet 18 year.....mmmmmm

  • glenfiddich

  • Now THAT is a good Scotch. A bit pricey for me, but is still worth every penny.

  • ron white, hands down, best comedian of our time. he is freakin hilariousss. makes him kinda sexy, don't ya think ? [; i loooove him !

  • If u think drinkin' is sexy then you'd looove me, LOL.

  • hahahahahah !!!

  • i think ron white and bo burnham are the best comedians of our time. definitely. ;)

  • i just watched bo last night, that's so funny you mention him ! lol.

  • haha i love them both :D

  • Comment removed

  • not im hot

  • me too

  • is it scoresbys thats good stuff ron is soo funny.

  • the scotch is to dark to be glenlivet. i would bet on jonny walker black.

  • Actually i think its blue

  • GLENLIVET.

  • ......probably

  • johnnie blue is overrated. balvenie on the other hand...

  • I'm drinking Evan Williams tonight.

  • Greedy bastards at diageo are closing the plant at Kilmarnock , Johnnie Walkers hometown, and moving it to a mega factory somewhere else, its been in Kilmarnock for 189 years, these companies like to use tradition and heritage in their ads but when it comes down to the people, they just dont give a fuck.

  • Is scotch expensive?

  • it is for U Bytch

  • very depends how old it is

  • old boot n sole scotch bottom of the shelf

  • I bet its JW black label. a blend of about 40 whiskies, each aged at least 12 years. This was also the favorite Scotch of Sir Winston Churchill. 80 proof.

  • @LTDANMAN44 Nah. Black label isn't that expensive. Green Label maybe. Although that's even not too expensive depending on how often you drink.

  • @LTDANMAN44 "Ma'am I may be drunk, but you're ugly. I'll wake up tomorrow, and I'll be sober, but you'll wake up tomorrow, and you will still be ugly"- Sir Winston Churchill

  • @AsToldByAaron Ok you wrote this a while back, but I have to help you get it right. Bessie Braddock: “Sir, you are drunk.”

Churchill: “Madam, you are ugly. In the morning, I shall be sober.”

  • @FlyingGuySFO Does it matter? You really only need to get the gist of it.

  • rw is my southern comfort. luuuv him.

  • I think he drinks Johnny Walker and that shit is smooth and fun to sip. I used to chug cheap whiskey but always sipped JW like Ron does.

  • Cheers!! lol !!!

  • he's wealthy and all, but damn it... stories like his can only be told while drinkin J&B or JW Black

  • or a lovely Highland Park Single Malt <3

my fave, expensive though so i'm a slow drinker hehe.

  • J&B only the best.

I wish those were my initials...

  • I think he drinks the J.W. Blue. I've had it before and its a wonderful spirit but..It really has a flavor that isnt very similar to scotch. I mean, I know it is scotch but it dosent taste like it. I'll take a Highland Park 12 Y.O. or a Aberlore any day.

  • Johnny Walker Red, just like Winston Churchill.

  • Johnny walker black

  • @nohomers232, He would never drink Johnny black. That is ultra low grade even in the average standard. He's probably drinking Chivas 25 or something of 50 years cause he's got the money for it.

  • @nohomers232 its johnnie walker not johnny

  • mm.m could some one make me a favour and tell what he's saying between

    "it is the...

    ...

    ..gonna die penniless"

I'm having hard time trying to hear what he's saying

  • it's the kind of scotch that people drink that are gonna die penniless.

  • Thanks

  • @heartcorexcaseyy

    =)Johnny Walker Blue(=

  • Saw his show in Easton, and Ron had his drink in their bottle....it's Johnny Walker Black, think it goes for $110 a bottle. This guy is a hoot!

  • damn, if its over a hundred bucks a bottle, and he's guzzling it down that fast, then he is indeed going to die penniless

  • I take that back...think it was Johnny Walker Blue. Hard to tell at that distance! :-)

  • yeah, you are right is JWB. which goes for 265 last i checked.

  • The man likes his alcohol. and Johnny Walker Blue is definately a good choice.

  • In Scotland...

    Blues the expensive stuff

    Blacks dirt cheap

but neither r malts so i dinna drink em

  • it goes for like 50

  • I guess it's J&B.

  • no, you didn't get the joke

  • he pours another cup and the crowd starts cheering lol

  • @gut197 he's the emeril of booze

  • @junyc85 I just clicked here to see my comment that I posted a year ago. Thanks, I forget all about this video

  • this guy and his scotch whisky haha
