  • Aliens were on earth... thats what the SPACE PROGRAM didnt want you to know I bet.

Kinda messed up on how to look at it. They left earth and went to another planet due to what was happening on earth before dinosaurs? Ever since then the aliens were always keeping an eye on earth but didnt care till they found out what was going on. Earth made the first chess move to attack, they just dont show you till the last episodes.

  • To continue below. The aliens were watching the humans the entire time. The aliens were ATHEISTs hahaha. They all came together and made "relations" with cyborges and so on but its not what you think.

It wasnt the aliens fault. NASA (no) or whoever was in charge of the SPACE program watching the stars for colonies messed with the aliens. They explain it to you on the last episodes. The AMBASSADOR alien was peaceful, till the "humans" heard the truth. Alien was pissed.

    ABANDON ALL HOPE

  • I loved this tv show series back in the 90s

I dont remember the "aliens" digging up human corpse and ripping the bodies apart. The "humans" fucked with the "aliens" on that one mission where they stole a chig bomber and bombed a "alien city" with dead soldiers on it, I never saw the rest of that episode and the one after it. The "ALIENS" didnt know what to do or look at when they saw this. It was kinda like a ruse or tactic and screwed with the "aliens" understanding of humans.

  • I will NEVER understand to this day why Fox cancelled this well written and engaging series, a missed opportunity to make some real action SCI-FI.

  • It was one of those shows that deserved a better audience. in the mid 90's mist networks didnt respect good science fiction, unless it was syndicated or on the sci fi channel. they kept moving the show around. Look what Fox did to "Firefly". And yet the X-Files was the exception.

  • Ui.: Ez a sorozat kicsit hasonlított a "Power kapitány és a jövő harcosai" című sorozatra, ami szintén kellene!!! :)

  • This was aired in England, late at night, so not big viewing figures- but a 'cult' following...aren't they the most loyal?... very disappointed to not find out what happened in the end!!

  • Whoever on FOX made the decision to cancel this show had better already be fired!

  • Broadcast TV died when this show died. I've barely watched TV since.

  • OH GODDAMN THIS WAS ONE GREAT SCI-FI SHOW

    SEMPER FI MARINE HOOOYAAAH

  • @polyquaternium7 Hooyaah is the Navy Seals warcry. Marines have OORAAH

  • I remember there was a clip about Shane with the song "Embrace - Wish 'Em All Away" it was awesome. Who made that clip?

  • @Cyproduction It was me, rememberspace is my other account. Unfortunately, YouTube deleted it and I can't upload it either. It was on grounds of copyright for the music, and there would be no point to that video anymore without the music ;(

  • @brainsare Too bad :(

It was a great clip, would love to see it again. The music was just perfect with it. Damn Youtube :/

  • @Cyproduction I managed to get it back up :)) just type Shane's Story into the search field :P

  • Actually, you would have to type "Shane's Story space" to find it now hehe

  • @brainsare Awesome :DDD

  • It's like those demotivational posters when I think of Fox xD.

Fox. Fucking up your favorite scifi series since the beginning of man.

  • Hell yeah Bill buchanan is badass! will def. buy this on dvd down the road looks cool.

  • @Smitty1586 I watched all the shows, all the movies and own several.

  • Fighter pilots? Space Carrier? More shows like this please!

  • This show was cool.

  • I remember this show!

  • I miss this show...All of these good shows cancelled and we are stuck with shit like desperate house sluts or cop shows.....

  • @Smitty1586 wrong m8: all star trek can be 'boldy' summurized as the following:

TOS: to boldy seduce any chick within 5 lightyear

TNG: to BALDLY solve all shit in KNOWN space within 42 min

DS9: To boldly kill new life and wage war with new civ's

VOY: To go to the other side of the universe and see new aliens in alpha quadrant ships.... fed fighter in 4 seperate episodes alone

ENT: To boldy solve torrows problems today...

Tng was a sci-fi soap and voyager only survived cause of borg-ratings

  • Why do all the best Sci Fis only have one season :(

  • This looks ridiculous but due to the lack of SF's these days I'll actually give it a shot.

  • best sciFi serie ever! F***k for Star Trek! P**s off Babylon 5, Thats the real good stuff!

  • @TraestKrefey fuck you, i know where you got that line fucker.

  • @smoku46 :D sounds like you are one of the Star trek babys! :) peace brother and life long and prosper! :D

Star trek is so..... boring! ;)

  • @TraestKrefey I wasn't trashtalking saab, I was trashtalking you LOOOOL

  • @TraestKrefey I hear you man, Trek died an agonizing death due to it's moron writers and nerd fans who can't stop whining. The best sci-fi shows, IMHO are 1. Battlestar Galactica 2004 2. Space Above & Beyond 3: Babylon 5. But that's my opinion anyway.

  • @PegasusViperTopGun62 Your opinion counts for jack shit.

  • @OpeningSalvoe according to who? You little man? well, that's too damned bad because I will state my opinion whether people care or not. So go suck your mom's tit and leave me alone.

  • @PegasusViperTopGun62 hahaha!! What's with that pic in your avatar, is it of you kidnapping some kid to have your way with?

  • @PegasusViperTopGun62

Season 3 of Enterprise was very good, and so was the whole of DS9, the bad ones were actually the form next gen.

  • @TraestKrefey

*boiling rage of rageness over your insult to babylon 5 you mother fucking cock sucker asshole bastard face!*

  • @Hot5six4231 I LOVE B5, my fave show, but someone who doesn't know & appreciate great scifi like B5 doesn't deserve to be so rudely insulted.

  • funny

  • funny

  • The main reason why FOX cancelled the show because the producers were trying to be more politically correct by putting in more minority characters, having more women and having a female commanding officer by replacing TC MCqueen.

This show got axed right before it was about to turn into a disaster due to political correctness.

  • @TimeGod12

Wow I though it was already politically correct.

  • @TimeGod12

So Fox Network has always had a right wing bias? That explains why Fox tried so hard to kill Babylon 5, B5 had a very liberal slant to it's stories.

I always thought Sci Fi was too cerebral for FOX and their demographics

  • @johnleejohnson babylon 5 wasn't on Fox! It was a Warner bros show on PTEN

  • @crichtonIASA Yes it was. It was on FOX first, then after FOX failed to kill the show, it was picked up by PTEN for the last year or so, then Crusade followed, and that show tanked. PTEN also picked up the movies. When the show first aired, and for the first four years of the original run, I watched it on my local FOX 17.

  • Is it me, or was this the only show that showed ships flipping around to take out enemies behind them without making a big turn/loop, or losing forward momentum(flying backward after the flip)?

  • @myrkjartn Babylon 5 and BSG GINO also were pretty true to actual space physics.

  • wow, better than b5?its quite hard to compare the two,b5"s story and effects were light years ahead of saab, also i think b5"s cast were way better, however saab had that little certain something that b5 did not,mmm a higher budget me thinks........

  • You know why B5 survived and S:AAB didn't? Because of B5's 'inferior' production. Warner gave them ~800k per episode, they had to MacGuyver their way through the series and STILL delivered great results for their limited budget and yet were threatened by the specter of cancellation all the time. S:AAB cost between 1.5 and 2 mil per episode. And while a great show, Fox was and is known for killing programs in far more popular genres which cost less all the fucking time.

  • @Ephabia If you really want to play the blame game, blame Fox. I loved S:AAB. I loved B5 and Star Trek (for the most part). You don't have to be monogamous in a relationship with a fucking TV show. Petty fanboy flame wars are not only completely pointless, you are also letting the people responsible off the hook because some douchebag bean counter at Fox decided a second season wasn't wort it despite the show just hitting its stride.

  • @Ephabia same for the FireFly series... Fox just dont know what's good... Sarah Conner Chronicles was another decent series... i'm just waiting for them to screw Fringe.

  • b5 , S:AAB barely each got five years on air, yet fucking shiity ass soap operas, get almost 10?, please my fellow humans make some sense

  • as a kid i watched red dwarf and doctor who, i also watch star trek and TNG

then i watched Space Above and Beyond, and i loved it. it changed what sci fi meant to me, i never seen anything like it. what a shame they brought it to an end. i loved this series, i loved this show. such a waste of potential.

i will always remember this show whenever i re-run my sci-fi dvds, bladerunner, alien, terminator, etc, space above and beyond..... very underrated

  • a great series

  • It's not really accurate to call Babylon 5 inferior. Babylon 5 and S:AAB were completely different shows and were both equally awesome.

  • @avi8r1 both Awesome but B5 gets the nod.

  • I never did get chance to see S:AAB when it aired but have since watched it and was horrified to be left in the lerch not knowing for sure if Vansen and Danfoose were dead and left wondering if there would be a way that Wang could survive, please Fox BRING IT BACK!!! peace negotiations obviousle went to pot but i for one want to see if we beat the Chigs and if McQueen can return to duty with prosthetics. sooooo sooooo gutted!

  • indeed another classic sci-fi show cancelled before its time

  • "Speculations say that the mammoth hit Babylon 5, despite it's inferior cast, production and scripts, muscled S:AAB off the air."

Wow, sour grapes. S:AAB had it's strengths but that a pretty bold statement!

  • @DiscoJustice the person you quoted that off is seriously deluded if they think a sci-fi show with an inferior cast , production and script could muscle a better show off the year. S:AAB's downfall was the falling ratings of the X-Files with two key writers leaving to produce S:AAB , the X-Files was more important to Fox

  • This was one of the best sci-fi series. To bad it was cancelled.

  • I love this SHOW!

  • SAAB and BSG EQUALLLY AS GOOD I remember when WILL SAAB WILL BE ON when i was like 12 lol WHEN WILL IT BE ON!? lol INTERGALACTIC WEDNESDAY HOW I MISS THEE!!!!!! OuO GRIPPING

  • This is a great show !! So disappointed they cancelled it ...

  • when i saw bsg the re imagined series my first thought was how similiar was to this series

  • when i tuned in to bsg not knowing what it was i thought "could it be? did they remake the show?" then I saw the galactica and was still surprised lol!

  • "all of us must rise to the call, above and beyond"

  • @grooveclubhouse so say we all!

  • the intro is a bit stupid, the series rocks tho.

  • which one the first or the second? I loved the original intro its what got me into the show..The other one I dont remember at all seems almost saturay morning character like but then again most sci-fi shows kind of are

  • "Space" was well ahead of its time. BSG is quite similar, aired about ten years later and is a success.

  • The stuff that is on TV now isn't worth shit.

Why don't they run this again, get the audience all worked up and then create new episodes.

Just like Battle star. I'm gonna watch these series again right now.

  • it was ok, preferred sliders n stuff tho...

  • I liked this show very much actually, too bad it got cancelled back then. Thanks for sharing this vid. :)

  • I only watched one episode of this. It was okay. Pretty much just generic 90's action sci-fi in a poor man's Star Wars style.

  • Well, watching just 1 episode hardly gets you familiar with the characters. And some of the episodes are true masterpieces in scripting, and you might not have seen one of them. Only one series that I ever saw is comparable in cast and interplay between characters, and that was the great show Band of Brothers by HBO. At least BoB got to finish :/

  • i'm actually rewatching this show right now!

  • la puta!, I remember this series!, It was a good show.

  • I wish they continue it sometime...

  • That was great !

  • 1 of the best scifi shows on tv in a long time.

Oh I cried when this was take off!!!!!

  • @earthdragon72 They fucked up Firefly too.

  • I kinda remember they cancelled it cause it was way too expensive

  • well those bastards that cancelled it can continoue today with new seasons... but NOOO they give us some bullshit SF series today... and this piece of art i cancelled

  • Beautiful...

  • Noooo!!!! Why Fox, why?!!

  • @Tablo Not enough viewers to recoup the production costs to charge advertising rates. It's all about economics.

  • @mayena Not True. Fox wanted Morgan & wong back on their Flagship series The X-files sufferring in the ratings after going to S:AaB
