Quite interesting way to catch a crab. No way would I be digging around with bare hands though. I guess here in Virginia we eat the whole crab but this really would help survival rates since I did know they will grow back a claw.
Yes...LOL.. I have balls of steel and I have to higher a dump truck to carry them to work for me. It is easy once you do it.. It is not that bad but I am enjoying all the comments about my large nads..Funny I was alot more worried about the water spout that I video taped and put on here than those crabs
Don't tell me you were noodling in a hole of oyster beds! I see that you have no gloves. I wouldn't be worried about getting pinched. You can slice a finger off on oyster shells. I got a pretty nasty cut on an oyster reef real easy without even trying. I would only stick my hand down a hole with a glove on.
I've seen those crabs in Louisiana before. You have to take the claw instead of the crab because they need more to mate or something like that, right??

No they can grow back another claw. Its a renewable resourse. It is also state law only right claw..
