SKIP to 1:10 for the actual video. The first minute is just REALLY annoying introduction, over and over. Thumbs up to save other people 1 min of their life.
Hmm I think these kids are being taken advantage off. Getting points for being a good little puppet and not being allowed to complain about it. And having to buy the clothes they wear with the allowance. Well it didnt say how much they get for all this ,maybe its decent.
But atleast teach your kids that money lose value the longer its saved . And i am realy amazed that the kids wanna go to college. If this family cant spot such a sorry deal ,what chance does rest of america have.
There are some great ideas here! I like how it puts the control and responsibility in the hands of the children. This family has taken a lot of time and has implemented a great system. Way to go. May other parents get ideas and teach their children money smarts!
I wish I learned this system during college. Now I have enormous debt and am working my rear off trying to pay it off.. Does anyone know when this was recorded?

@MavinOfSavin Thanks, I'll definitely check it out! thanks for the words of encouragement. I referred my friend to this vid and he said he is definitely gonna use this with this babies when they get older.
These kind of shows would have more weight if they showed upper middle class families doing this. Rich people are the cheapest that's how they get rich.
@MikDonsen What is rich? Is it simply more than what you have. We aren't rich financially— don't want to be, but we are rich in what matters most — family relationships and friends.
yeah I want to buy some stuff for MY dog and I'm 11 I have like 0$ in my monkey bank (aka Piggy bank it is shaped like a monkey though) so I have to save my money to get those assecories for MY dog

Smart parents, good kids. Most kids don't have this structure, these kids will both be leaders and not blame others for all of their problems.
