Yeah, it's a real shame that the movie characters didn't look nearly as cool as this. I always felt that the Autobots should look like robot superheroes-bright colours, chunky, familiar shapes-you can identify them as the good guys. Part of their charm is that you can recognize bits of car/truck/whatever in the robot modes- it distinguishes them from one another.
The Bayformers all look like monsters. Do kids today like the new ones as much as we liked the old ones when we were kids ourselves?

ILM would not include reaction shots from actors in their test footage. Why would the footage have the "film" strip on each end if it's CGI test footage? It's a fake fan made movie. I saw this like three years ago, before the movie was even thought about.

It's probably just fake but i've never seen a fan vid before were they have made it out to be done by ILM before as far as I can tell but that's probably just to make it appear genuine.
Even if it is real it's obviously a test shot from early on in the project and not repreasentative at all of what we will see in the movie.
