I think you miss-read my comments. My message comparing a palyer to Van Persie was about Aliadiere.
I think Barazite is better (than Pato and Bojan), purely because he's more than just a striker. Obviously there's not much to support my view because Barazite isn't playing first team football.
I can't see Bojan turning into much more than a goal poaching Rául type player. And as far as Pato is concerned, although his goal scoring record is second to none, Serie A has been declining.
Which member of Arsenal's first team would he replace? He couldn't paly along side Van Persie, they wouldn't go well together. So he would have to replace Van Persie, and that could never happen. Pato maybe a better goal scorer than Ade, but Ade does alot more work, he terrorises defenders, and Pato couldnt match Ade's movement, and therefore couldnt replace him. Eduardo is like Pato, only ALOT better, so you couldnt replace him either. Pato would be in our Carling cup squad.
Nonono, watch Pato play some more, and you'll se what I mean. I think he could easily adapt as the striker, while for example v. Persie plays behind him, besides, rotation never hurts, so we could do with 3-4 quality strikers.
Don't get me wrong, I like Pato. But for me, in Eduardo, with have a similar mould of striker, only Eduardo's better. Right now at Arsenal we have 5 strikers. Bendtner's a bit of a rarity, I dont really see what exactly he brings to the table (although he does get himself into good positions). RVP is a creator, who's probably better outside the box, but can adapt and score from anywhere. Ade is a work horse with pace who can stretch a defence. Eduardo and Vela are the box players who get goals.
Pato I would say is more like Eduardo and Vela, but Eduardo on form is immense. There's no way Pato could replace him. He would do the same job as Vela is now. Sub appearances and a Carling Cup role.
He's the same age as Van Persie, but what has he done in comparison?
If it wasn't for injuries, Van Persie would be our main striker for the past 3 seasons now. Aliadiere has been almost injury free, and I can only remember him making an impact in 2 or 3 Carling Cup matches, the Liverpool game along side Batista is the only one that stands out.
You can call the man stupid, but I for one and glad he left. Ade, RVP, Dudu, Vela and even Bendtner are better.
Arsenal have an amazing amount of talent in our reserves at the moment. And were going on about Wenger should spend loads of money this summer when look who he could use next season eg. Barazite, Merida, Vela, Randall, Gibbs etc.
dunno much about this guy. saw him in the carling cup when he hurt his shoulder. i guess i'll have to wait till he comes back off loan to see him in action.

LOL i wouldn't go that far Bojan and Pato and miles better

Bojan is good, but that's it. He's a decent striker, but he's limited. Pato is over hyped, and couldn't get into the Arsenal squad.

Yh both Bojan and Pato are the best young strikers they are alot better than barazite. But barazite is good

I'm an Arsenal fan I have seen quite a lot of AC Milan's Pato. He is exceptional and would easily walk into our team. He is THAT good.

@aediasse
Definitely. I still remember the goal he scored against fiorentina back in 2007 or so. I was like HOLY SNAP.
Anyway, 42 goals and only 20 years old? That's great by anyone's standards.

Maroccan style? He was born and raised in Holland ;)
He's a great player though, and only 17 years old. A great prospect for Arsenal and Holland.
