He defeated Jinpachi. Then you see him in a mansion, walking to his chair with a bunch of guys. He then took over it with Jinpachi out, So then he became the leader. That's why he has a army.

ive been playin tekken ever since i had no.2 as my first ps1 game, im an uberfan.

i cannot wait for this, apparentely the release date is 25/9/09, it might be game over for jin, but who knows, if he does get defeated i doubt he'll die, hes the child of destiny, and aswell as that hes got mishima blood in him, which makes him almost invincible when you see what his grandad survived, aswell as his dad.

In terms of intros Tekken 3's console opening was the best. But this is just beautiful and the score works. I miss the straight forward Namco logo. But in terms of Tekken 5's intro to 6's I would choose 6. 5 was good for its time but 6 this takes the cake lets see if the console version trumps this. Yet none could match 3 in terms of introduction of characters, music, and immediacy it looked like a stand alone flick.

Actually, Xiaoyu's story in Tekken 6 is geared towards stopping Jin. Helping him if you want to call it that. It's the rest of the world that wants Kazuya and G Corporation to stop the Zaibatsu. On another note, most characters with the exception of Xiaoyu in Tekken 6 want Jin dead. How nice. -.-
