Hmm... I never heard of a cop pulling over someone on suspicion of "stoned driving." If someone is driving stoned, there is no way to tell. It has never been shown that cannabis affects a person's ability to drive. Furthermore, if a stoned person IS pulled over for suspicion of drunk driving, he's going to pass the Fields Sobriety Test.

Hmm... I never heard of a cop pulling over someone on suspicion of "stoned driving." If someone is driving stoned, there is no way to tell. It has never been shown that cannabis affects a person's ability to drive. Furthermore, if a stoned person IS pulled over for suspicion of drunk driving, he's going to pass the Fields Sobriety Test.

Joe is 100% right, though. It is much easier for kids to buy weed than it is to buy alcohol. I remember being underage, how much of a hassle it was to get alcohol. I know a lot of people who have driven while high and none of them have had accidents... some are even BETTER at driving because of it. And for this guy to just write off a decrease in the amount of crime and increase in tax dollars, just because of some false notion that kids will get a hold of it is ridiculous. Kids aren't drinking and smoking tobacco despite them being legal, and the reason for that is a thing called age limits. You'll have to be 21 to recreationally use pot with Prop 19.
