  • can you tell me the parts you used on your veg car

also how are you blending your wvo

    thanks

    GOD BLESS

  • That's a fancy filter, mine costs me about $7.00 at NAPA.

  • No, he's not talking about ethanol. It's reusing already used vegetable oil.

  • This type of fuel actually contributes to Global warming! Read the article in last month's TIME magazine!

  • Stop Trolling!

  • @SuperFemmeBot Piss off nobody cares what you have to say.

  • hey dan. waz uuup. add me

  • hi dan its maggie

    add me as your friend!!!

  • Do you have one tank or two?

Is the car still running good and has it ran good the whole time?

  • The car converted in the video as well as my car are both single tank conversions. My car has traveled more than 25,000 miles on wvo and hasn't had any engine problems at all. The car in the video is a 300SD and is also running great on wvo.

  • my car has now logged more than 30,000 miles on veg oil (single-tank conversion). it is still running great. I had to put $1,100 into repairing the A/C but that had nothing to do with running on veg oil.

  • how much does it cost to onvert?

  • Mercedes 300-series (or 240) from 1979 to 1985 are the easiest cars to convert. A single-tank conversion will run you about $700. you can do it yourself for about $400 in parts. if you live in a cold climate, you might want to go with a two-tank conversion. this will cost a bit more, perhaps $1,200 or so. If you have a later model diesel vehicle, you will also need a two-tank conversion.

check with the professionals for more accurate prices. Check out Greasel, Frybrid, Lovecraft, Greaasecar...

  • not bad at all! thanks :)

  • @lldanj Really b/c I just converted a 1982 240D to run on WVO SVO and B99, and only spent $45.00 new fuel lines a a few fuel filters to change after all the sediment from the tank clogs them up. you way over spent on an easy setup.

  • Lokitoyz-Problem now is their is talk of companies picking up the waste oil from Mcdonalds taking it to a pumping station and then in their own sick minds think they are providing a service we can't live without and MUST pay for. see how we don't need a middle man!

  • I agree we don't need a middle man but that's inevitable because there's nobody to stop them. Can you stop them?

  • I wish I could. maybe together someday we'll stand up to the capilist pigs and take back control of our Nation. but until the day we all grow enough hair on our you know whats to think about the future generations and and not worry about the paycheck we desparatly need that week, we could do it

  • I like what your saying but I wonder if your response is just well crafted or heartfelt? I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt but these capitalist pigs as you call them are very clever and have learned how to sell revolution in a very attractive bottle with lots of promises and no lack of late night infomercials to sell their opiates. What say you?

  • Gotta agree! your right they probably will win. United we stand divided we fall i have to believe in that otherwise there is no point in falling

  • This is great until Corporate America starts charging for what we get for free. When will America wake up and shake off the waste of human life know as the corporate executive and the stock holder?

  • Isn't this impractical for long drives?

  • Not really there's a McDonalds, BurgerKing, Wendy's or you name it on every street corner.

  • Yes but won't they eventually charge people for the oil once it catches on? And if not then what's in it for them other than mere disposal?

  • exactly they way it stands now, McDonalds and the like dump the oil in landfills, complety harmless but they still have to pay for it's disposal, so keep vegie oil free and everyone who uses this system can stop at any 1 of 100 fast food stops and fuel up on thier own(bring their own pump) all the restaurant has to due is give easy safe access to their dump tank. Win Win!

  • Kill yourself...

  • My new BMW 7 series V8 diesel runs on bio-fuel and it is excellent.

  • Nice job guys! Peeps gotta realise that we cant contiune to run on fossil fuels. well we could but it would hurt a lot of people and I dont think humans like that.

Any way keep fighting the good fight!

  • We have a lot more information on vegcars at the website: www.vegcar.net.
