  • Very well played iam a fan!

  • I loved it, but I am always a fan of neo-classical shred metal, so I like my distortion thick and my fingers quick.

  • i just subscribed to these massive amounts of pure win !!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice Sweetpicking :)

  • FINALLY I DISCOVERED A EXELLENT COVER. YOU ARE A GOD BOY. KNOW THAT

  • This was on Crossroads lol. Ralph Machio played this against Steve Vai lol NICEEEEEEEEEEE

  • @Beers782 no fucking shit

  • Hi, dude. great cover.

What settings did you have on your ME-25?

Or can i download your settings somewhere?

    thx

  • Great Man..really beautiful!!

  • i love it !!!!!

  • i have searched 1000 covers and you are the first one to be actually ACCURATE!

  • Isn't this from the Corssroads duel???

  • hi, nice tone dude, you have any nice patches with warm sounds? or maybe some distorsion, i cant menage to make them!!... nice playing, vercy acurate

  • good work !!

  • How long did you prctice to do it , how you can now?

  • Outstanding !! Clean and spot on accurate.

  • @musicman102357 Thanks!

  • how much do you practise a day and what???? scales and exercises or just songs. great playing :)

  • @charlestheguitarist1 Hey man, thanks for your comment.

Well I don't practice a huge amount every day, although about two years ago I sometimes practiced 4 hours a day. I try and mix it up a bit, technical exercises are really important to become sound in that department, but of course it's good to know some theory. When you learn scales though try and do so in different ways, such as up and down one string as well as in positions. Also remember to do some composing and playing by ear! :)

  • simply perfect...... great work once again......

  • @nudsh Thanks mate :)

  • Elliot I have 2 questions:

1.) Did you have a compressor enabled in your ME-25? I thought it was a bit too squashed? Agree? Then again, maybe it's just YouTube!

2.) Do you hold your pick parallel to the strings? (As opposed to Paul Gilbert, who's a big advocate of forward-angling his pick (45-degrees!) to reduce pick-resistance. Not all great players angle the pick! (Shawn Lane back-angled his pick!) It seems like you (and Yngwie too!) keep the pick parallel to the strings?

    Thoughts?

  • @billmeedog Hey Bill thanks for your original comment.

    1. I think I did, and I would agree with you. Obviously Youtube doesn't help lol, but I think I still need to work on the tone!

2.Most of the time my pick is indeed parallel to the strings :)

  • @billmeedog Parallel is the only way!!!

Parallel all the way! Must be parallell. Yngwie knows his shiznick! I would explain but Im too hung over. Just keep it parallel!

  • Killer Elliot! When I saw that you were posting this, I knew that your skills were very well-suited (developed!) to kick the shit out of it - all without a shred of distortion (which is accurate to the original Vai-performance from the movie!)

    Well done my IG-friend!

  • @marsdemartini Thanks man!

  • you have done good work!

  • @sp00nf33d Thanks man!

  • it is a hard piece! and like the guy below me said, you play it without distortion unlike any other cover and your very clean!

  • @Saimenism Thanks a bunch man!

  • Thats deffinetly my favorite cover. There was no distortion like most of the other videos around, and your playing is extremely clean. Thanks for making such a good video

  • @225tommo No problem man, thanks for your comment!

  • COLL FRIENSD I LIKE YOU COVER MUY BUENO STEVE VAI ES EL MEJOR EAA

  • @brayan22134 Cheers mate!

  • my dad wants me to learn the same

  • very nice :) surprisingly relaxing, probably due to the tone that was really really nice. Surprised by how clean your playing sound.
