Regarding the spiccato stroke I can give you a couple of pointers. Try to do the majority of the stroke from the wrist and make sure that the wrist is a little elevated and the elbow is a little lower that usual: that wil help to keep the stroke short, crisp and get the bow bouncing. It´s very important that the 4th finger is not actively involved (take it off the stick if necessary) as it will just cause you to become tense. Hope this helps.Good luck. Oren.
Bravo Oren< i remember you since Tchaikovsky competition, you Bach No 6 was more interesting and Shostakovitch No 1 so fresh and not standard instead of another players a la Rostropovich.
You guys might be blown away when you hear Luka Sulic's Pezzo :D.

Na, tökjó! :) Imádom ezt a darabot! Nagy kihívás lesz, de én már ismerlek, és nincs mi miatt aggódnom, úgyis szenzációs lesz..

Beautiful playing and sexy cellist. I'm still trying to work on the stroke for the fast part... what's your advice?
