  • and where do you find a "stock" 475 E?

  • @sweekley28 all over the place? 3406E was the first of the 3406 engine family to get an overhead cam, electronic engine control module and electronic injectors. It was 15.2 liters and could be had in a couple variations. an example being 435/475. 435 on the fuel petal, and 475 on the cruise switch. I ran a 550 3406E and that thing would RUN!

  • So what besides nothing do you know about an E model or any other diesel for that matter???

  • What tha crap is hog fuel???

  • it's straight pipes or nothing

  • 1:50 and on thats the best sound in the world! Nice truck and video!

  • When he hit the jakes making that turn I think I got a little excited! You keep up the videos it is nice to see another kid my age all about trucks.

  • 10 speeds just arent enough gears, especially if you are running through mountains

  • does she roll any coal when you first take off? i am looking at a truck just about like this one

  • @docholiday456456456 Nah, this is pretty stock. I dont see any noticeable coal at all...

  • RocknRoll...sweet

  • god i love that. blblblblblblblblb

  • caterpillars are the best to most drivers but ccummings isn't bad with straights i love to hear all truck with big motors breath shift a cat at bout 2000-2100l might be 2200 and hear it show how much power it has i swear on the life the goodlord

  • Yeah, it's a great sound... for awhile. But after 10-12 hours day after day, you might want to get baffles in. Maybe hear the radio again. JMHO

  • @lars1957 He drove this 12 hours a day for like a long time before he got his new truck. With the windows up you can hear every word on the radio

  • cats always needs straight pipes

i love cats on straight pipes

  • @379peterbilt530 sure does brings me back to my childhood grew up over the road in a Freightliner FLD 120 i could sleep for hrs to that noise lol

  • that damn turbo gives me memories :)

  • Think you could spam the tags section any more?

  • caterpiller do not make engine for truck use no more it just cummines engine only for truck use .

  • @jackrabbitt29 cummins and detroit

  • @jackrabbitt29 but the y got this shit were u have 2 order it in it aint that a u know what i wanna say lol trying to stop cussin

  • thats nothing compared to the sound of a scania r620 with 8" straight pipes

  • @The143500 hey i senn that video is it red?

  • @LordBrolly i dnt know but the new r730 is red but that dosent have 8" straights on it just look up scania 143 500 wit straight pipes and youll hear some v8 power or just look up scania r620 with straight pipes

  • hey i do agree with u cat dont need no muffler

  • i dont like it with the muffler on it sounds shitty

  • @MrJevonmartin Even straight through mufflers on cats are really quiet... I think all Cats needs straight pipes.

  • that has a fuckin good tune to it ;)

  • @bcox85ify Too bad the guy who drives it now put a muffler back on it. Now you really can't hear it, and the fuel mileage is terrible now because of it.

  • adoro esse ruido do motor caterpillar eu tambem tenho um peterbilt 379 aqui em portugal e tem um motor cat3406e com 625hp boa viagem bye jorge

  • GD, that 3406E sounds great, i love the sound of Cats, ive got one in my lift truck at work and just love driving it around the plant.

  • The guy who drives it now said he wanted a muffler on it. Should of just told him it had one on there and let him drive it since cats are quiet compared to detroits and cummins. Now you can't hear it at all with the factory muffler on there, and lost about 2/10th in fuel mileage and lost 2 psi boost.

  • @Lunchbox21984 This sounds better then the N14 dad has in his 96, i still want him to punch the baffles out of the dynaflex because N14s are god like with straight pipes.

  • @Hotrodx199 n14s are godlike with straights and cats are god.

  • @Hotrodx199 Toss a couple of D cell flashlight batteries down the stack it will open up in a couple of weeks

  • @gullreefclub all the acid will melt the baffles? lmao

  • Forget 5/5 stars.

  • Why don;t hit the 2k rpm? Cats & Cummins can get up to 2,500 rpm easy.

  • This was originally governed at 1800, but we brought it back up to 2100.

  • @Hotrodx199 those jakes needs to sound brutal @ 2k.

  • they make the most racket around 1700

  • sounds nice.

  • to ready anyway thanks cares

  • the sound at least 15 seconds each minimum thanks

  • Sorry man.

  • I can do a favor for a game I need sounds of trucks 18 wos haulin

a sound internal idle at 1000 rpm one another in 1500 and the last in 2000

  • uhh dad isn't going to drive this truck much longer and i don't know when i can ride with him since school starts on thursday.

  • speed?

  • 55 mph average.

  • What the hell is hog fuel???

  • it's kind of like bark. Grinded up wood.

  • hmm ok

  • nice video

  • I could drive by your house with our 65 freightliner and wake you up from the jake brakes if ya want. No problem there.

  • How can you not love that sound. nothing like diesel in the morning.

  • i do love that sound, from inside the cab. not in the bed lol

  • Nothing sounds better than a CAT!!!!!!!

  • Nothing sounds better than a 3406. Hehe :)

  • Top film mate could listen to that sound forever.More vids please.10 out of 10

  • My god, the T800 is sick, and with those stacks its sounds beautiful. :D

  • hell yeah!

  • Very excellent!! I could drive that truck forever.

  • The sound never gets old let me tell ya!

  • Nice vid man! =)

  • Thanks!

  • wake em up hotrod,it's time they got out of bed anyway.sounds nice.

  • Well if this was a 60 series detroit diesel then i really would wake them out of bed. Plus i would wake the dead haha.

  • So are those wood chips ya haulin?

  • hog fuel. A mixture of bark and other dirts. It's what they use to make kingsford charcoal.

  • did not know that, does you unload on a tipper, I seen some deals where is pushes the stuff out, must be belt driven I guess, just curious is all

  • Damn, that cat sounds beautiful, I smile after each shift.

  • Cat's have a good sound to them. There not loud compared to cummins or detroits, witch is a good thing. Like a cummins, if you drove one of those straight piped there louder then hell and gets annoying real fast.

  • love the turbo hum at the end of each shift sounds awsome

  • good video tho keep em comin

  • I'll get a hill climbing video soon!

  • That sounds great! I love the sound of the 3406's when they are jakin' haha

  • I thought they sounded cool. At least there not annoying like detroit 60 series are.

  • Definately, I love the sound of the turbo when the jake is on!

  • Sweet sounding ride brother...gotta love the T800...since I drive one myself..haha...5 stars

  • Thanks.
