Thanks for the video. Interesting lifestyle. I also notice that the compound looks quiet most of the time. (never anybody around) did you find it lonely there?
@MegaTraveling There are lots of teachers around in this compound, just not, I guess, when I made this video (it was very hot outside and most smart people would stay inside!). I didn't find it lonely and greatly enjoyed my personal time :)
Hi there. Thanks for your informative video. My wife and I are planning a move to Saudi in the near future. We have also both taught in Korea. We have a skype interview with a recruiter tomorrow. Could you recommend any recruiters we might speak to?
@kernowden1 Glad you enjoyed the vid! I'm sorry, but I don't actually know any recruiters in Saudi and as hired directly by my employer, and they only hire for Sept. I'm sure you'll be fine though. All the best!
Thanks for uploading these videos! My husband and I are coming to this school in September, and it is great to see what it actually looks like. I loved watching your videos, and it really gives us a better idea of what to expect. (We are coming from Korea too.)
hey thanks for sharing all these details... i am actually thinking of comming over to teach in jan/feb. the place your at seems really nice, which contractor did you sign up with and which city?
Hi. Are you teaching at King Saud in Riyadh by any chance? I'm supposed to be going there very soon, just waiting for documents to be confirmed by Saudi authorities. Who do you work for.. can you say? p.s. I also taught at a hagwon in South Korea for a year.
@brandywhite Hi! I am in Hofuf, nowhere near Riyadh! Sounds like you're on a similar track. Very cool. Take care and drop me a line when you get here!
@ddorai7 Hey, cool! Thanks for watching my videos! I really miss Korea. I am in Saudi Arabia now to teach English at a university, just for nine months :)
@JoKeRyaT I am living in a tiny city in the north east called Hofuf. The heat is pretty wild. Haven't really been here long enough to pass any further judgement. Stay tuned!
@zakryyy Well so far, the only "local" food is what I've had at the university. Rice, chicken, beef, etc. It's okay, can't' complain. What's great is that it's cheap and we get a LOT of food (for lunch).
