i got the whole ova series and the whole first season thing.

It was a huge pain to get at Best Buy

A state of tension exists between the United Planets and the Raalgon Empire. Meanwhile Justy Ueki Tylor(age 20), a drifting layabout sees a recruitment ad for the United Planets Space Force and decides to join(this is mainly because of the cute girl in the ad). However, Tylor also figures that it's an easy life as all the basic necessities of life are free. He soon becomes captain of his own ship and a key player in the war. And no one can decide if he's an total idiot or a tactical genius.
