  • Wha do ya drive now?your cellmates arse!!

  • what fag

  • A little wild!!! Great Burnout, but I would have to say that is very hard on the transmission (either the auto or standard).

  • Yes, I only did this twice - once for taking pictures and once for getting it on video.

I didn't feel it was to hard on the tranmission though. The vette has a lot of torque (345 Ft-Lbs / 468 NM) and the (manual six-speed) gearbox on the lower gears felt and sounded like a truck's gearbox. The clutch (on the other hand) was the first thing to wear out.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • LOL.. I have the same car. The torque is great and I would agree it can take the beating, its just how many times?!?!? The L98 will do great burnouts. Traction; however, is an issue with the pre 92' vettes. Do you still own it? Check out my profile and you will see my 91. I love that car and will most likely always own it!

  • I also love the scream from your friend!!!!

  • No, I sold it 2003, but I bought it new 1990 so that gives you an idea how I felt about it ;-) As long as the road was smooth I had no problem at all with the traction, on the contrary I thought it was superb. But when the road got bumby a friend in i Honda Prelude(?) passed me ;-)

I still think the Vette is one of the best sport cars there is if you consider bang for the bucks.

  • Yes, my friends scream was genuine - I did a 360° turn and ended up taking a right turn on the crossing road when I intended to do a 90° turn and go left ;-) and on the other side of the crossing road was a very deep ditch... I was scared shitless myself ;-)

  • It is great. I live in Montana and we have a lot of cold weather so traction for me is sometimes an issue. If is 75 degrees F or hotter it is usually not an issue. I love the C4's. Great value for the dollar. My car just turned 45000 miles. Runs like a top!!

  • The real burnout occurs 38 seconds into the video clip.
