  • beautiful song, beautiful voice love it thanks

  • BEAUTIFUL MUSIC

  • My mother and father love this song very much. They said it reminded them of their young life together - the lyrics were just the same words they promised to each other.

  • I love this song.....thank you for sharing.....it means a lot, bring back old tears in my life, but all and all I will dedicate this song to my one and only love, because I have told him when we broke up: " YOU ARE MY REASON TO LIVE " .... it was a sad moment in my life. it is a wonderful feeling in return to hear the song again. (phandono/peg)

  • Kan er mij iemand zeggen waar ik het liedje "All the way" kan vinden van Jerry vale, ik weet dat hij dat ooit gezongen heeft maar het is niet te vinden, kan er mij iemand helpen.

  • thank you for this great song, been married 50 years, and i still sing this to my beloved wife. worde in a song are expression of feelings, thank you sfrogers

  • my favourite song of all time, married 50 years to the same lady, and the words are just as i would still sing to day. Thank you for the song on you tube

  • Beautiful! Thank you!

  • Fantastic voice!

  • GREAT song for Jerry Vale But still like the orginal as well!!

  • seeing JV in person is impossible....just a short and simple reply on FB would be good enough

  • HE WAS VERY POPULAR HERE IN THE STATES. Morso than the other 3 whom I also liked. Jerry Vale, and Perry Como, ruled the charts here.

  • @Marlolu1 Yes He was!! And they have been advertising His version of the MOB' songs. Beautiful Beautiful. He had everybody listening. I still listen. But at heart I am a JOHNNY CONTARDOALOCHOLIC! He was the lead singer for

Sha Na Na! And still appears at a few places in the summer.

  • @ONENIGGER2ANOTHER - CAN ANYONE HELP ME? I'M LOOKING FOR THE SONG OF JERRY VALE ( TILL ) WHICH WAS RECORDED IN 1957 ( 45 RPM IN JUKE BOXES ). AT THAT TIME MY GIRL FRIEND AND I WERE BOTH 17 AND BOTH OF US FELL IN LOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME DURING THAT YEAR.

SAD TO SAY, SHE DIED 11 YEARS AGO BUT THE SONG IS STILL ALIVE - ALIVE - ALIVE INSIDE MY HEART. SO, PLEASE AS A FAVOR TO A SENIOR CITIZEN, COULD ANYONE UPLOAD THIS 1957 VERSION AT YOUTUBE? I WOULD BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL. THANKS A LOT!!! 'BYE.

  • @ethanruffydubois59 Go up to your search bar on UTUBE & put in Jerry Vale Til hit enter. Several versions will come up. There are several. Check & see if one of them is the one you want. Or go on E-Bay & check.

  • As a teen, I remember putting his albums on to sleep by. What a blessing this is with you sharing these. Thanks as he was an awesome singer.

  • Love everything that Jerry has recorded, but where is one of his best songs

'What's He Doing In My World', someone please post it.

  • ro522 I thought I was pretty with it in the 50s but have never heard of Purple Shadows but I will see if I can find it on You Tube and have a listen.Cheers.

  • tayjorge,I don't understand the question where was I then.I can't help your 3rd world upbringing but the fact is Jerry Vale was not a big name in England. I think the record companies have a lot to answer for in that respect, if they don't push a particular artist they don't get the airplay they need to become well known

Please explain Where were YOU then question as it does'nt make sense.

  • A gem of an upload! Thank you.

  • i NEVER GET TIRED OF PLAYING THIS OVER AND OVER.....

  • What an amazing voice, He does deserve recognition , His music means so much to so many people, Thank You sfrogers for sharing this with us on You Tube........

  • sincerely,,,just great !!!!!!!!!

  • He defines ballad and makes it look easy.

  • Wonderful voice, pure perfection! First heard Jerry's voice in 1972 when a friend brought back one of his albums from the States. Could never buy his records here in Ireland. YouTube is wonderful, thank you!

  • I sure would love to see him in person unfortunately I guess he is retired. How sad this world today knows nothing of the beautiful music, they think love is hooking up, who thought of that. It has become sad Iam glad there is this site I can go to and I can go to a place I was happy with someone I loved and times were certainly better and people were nicer.

  • Talented crooner! with a voice that is smooth as velvet.

  • Wonderful version. Treasured and cherished.

  • what a great trip down memory lane,as a child growing up this is the man we all listened to....I still get goose bumps....Thanks

  • jerry vale, my favorite singer is i believe the greatest singer of all times...

  • a voice from the angels in heaven who chose lyrics that told stories of love and magic stories for people to share and interpret with their loved ones. ROSELLI

  • Jerry Vale. Just an amazing singer. What a voice. "WOW"

    Thanks

  • Where was this man when the likes of Al Martino, Eddy Fisher,Tony Bennet t were in the charts, over in England we'd never heard of him.He was the equal of any of them,so why the lack of publicity, he would have been more appreciated over here I'm sure.

  • @nathan0578 My dad (in his mid 70's) always said that Jerry never got the acclaim that he so truly deserved here in America also. I agree that he was equal if not better than the singers you've mentioned.

  • @nathan0578 Look him up on Wikipedia; you'll be surprised!

  • @nathan0578 I live in a 3rd world country but I knew all about him!

    Where were YOU then??????

  • @nathan0578 Sorry you didn't hear of him...Jerry Vale was loved and appreciated right here at home! The fault sir is with your radio or whoever is in charge of your top 100 hits! For sure Purple Shadows was a hit song in the 1950's.

    ro522

  • @nathan0578 don't ask the us and the italians are so fucked up you don't want to figure it out. if i offended any italiano's, pardon me

  • @nathan0578 Must admit I had never heard of Jerry Vale until I discovered him on youtube a couple of years ago, and I have since bought a double album of his via Amazon.co.uk. No voices of this calabre in the charts these days, on either side of the Atlantic.

  • @MsNerin26 That's one of the most beautiful compliments I've read about Jerry Vale!

  • I got the CD of this album released in 1969

  • Mavellous.....wonderful...romantic...nothing like this great guy.. love it so..thank you Gerry!!

  • my favorite singer, Jerry Vale... greatest singer of all times... thank you for uploading this song.

  • How right you are, avids517!

  • better than Martin,or Bennett,,,he never got the big break..awesome voice.

  • Saw him in person in New Orleans, at the legendary blue room. What an unforgettable experience. His opening song: 'I Feel a Song Coming On."

  • The voice range of Jerry is wonderful, i am privledged to have heard these songs as my mom played the 33LP's on the Muntz console. the music could be heard through out the house and down the street. I sure miss the songs mom played. I hope everyone enjoys this fine song. Jerry, Thank You for such a wonderful performance of a very difficult song to sing.

  • No version more uniquely melodious and smooth than Jerry Vale's incomparable voice and style!

  • Great song, Great singer.

  • Wonderful voice ;)

  • would love to see him in person. does he ever perform in vegas?

  • Jerry Vale has retired.

  • @sfrogers Thank the "Lord" for that.. The most Narcisstic, Egostical and Self-centered (singer ?) person, that I have EVER met!!!! ALL(show business people that I have known, in the past), totally agree, with me.

  • Just brilliant, what a song and what a singer. Thanks for posting, it's a gem.
