Val Venis is an obvious rip off of Ravishing Rick Rude. I'm sure a lot of newer wrestling fans probably aren't even familiar with Ravishing Rick Rude since he was before their time.

@HoldOnToYourDream ..i agree. but val played the angle a bit differently. for one, rude was a good looking arrogant wrestler who came out to piss off the crowd & taunt the ladies in the crowd with his phyique. ..val's a male porn star with cool charasmatic comedic timing who uses funny sexual innuendo. the ladies in the wwe crowd love him. no boos and pissing anyone off... rick rude is the originator & the innovator. val, i think, in his own way is just paying an homage to ravishing rick rude.
