The Flyers got lucky with Montreal because of their Goalie meltdown. I agree that the pens dominated this series and that 6-0 win after a 4-2 loss proved that philly ran out of gas. KingoftheLaw every one is entitled to an opinion and dont have to agree with everything you say. I think the pens will probably win in 5 maybe 6. I have been hearing that the Redwings might trouble stopping Crosby. But this might be a good series though.

I'm eager to see this, it's been 16 years for me. haha.

This is the matchup EVERYONE had predicted at the beginning of the season. This is going to be ONE of the BEST (not the best) Stanley Cup Finals Series to date in a long time. Both teams are very deserving of representing their respected conferences.

This should be a series for the ages.

lets face the facts people mainly from pitt and detroit, this idea that this stanley cup finals are going to create these incredible ratings for hockey are totally in fantasy land. the redwings have been a top dynasty for a decade now and they never have these great ratings that people seem to think. And the penguins with sidney crosby and his so called dominating play[4 goals]will definetly not get more people to watch. Like many have said before the league will never be as popular as 1994.

Wait. Game 1 and 2 were very close and with the lucky end to the Pens. Game 3 and 5 were dominated by the Pens and Game 4 especially the first two periods the Flyers showed how good they can play.

The Flyers had a very good season. Worst Team last year and now under the top 4 teams. The beat Capitals and the Canadiens.

But they had trouble beating the Capitals and got a lucky break with the Habs because of Price.

The Penguins dominated them in every aspect in the series. Game 5 proved it.

The flyers outplayed the caps. Plain and simple. They shut down arguably the most explosive player in the entire league. They shut the habs down with solid goaltending and steller offensive play. It was no fluke. Expect to see them back in AT LEAST the 2nd round next year.
