I'm amazed I didn't become a full blown diabetic after drinking so many Cokes that summer, all in an attempt to win some money. I didn't go away empty-handed, though, since I recycled them. Still, I miss promotional giveaways like this.
They don't do this anymore, now you get a fucking pin number or some shit and you have to register on the website, give an email, submit a pin...blah blah, no one wants to do that.
I remember that.....................then they wound up saying there was 1 winner in every 6 pack and my mom bought a 6 pack, and we didn't have any winners.

These cans also had springs inside of them to make the prizes pop out of chlorinated water. Though initially a great success, technical difficulties led many of the cans to malfunction, leading to numerous consumer complaints. Some of these include a flight attendant calling the bomb squad, worried because her Coca-Cola would not pour out. After the squad weighed the can, a ten-dollar bill came out.
LOL - I totally remember this commercial... I was so mad at my parents for being a Pepsi household. I just knew the New Kids on the Block and Coca Cola were gonna make me rich if i could just get my hands on one!
