The way to tell the quality of the work is that there was never any personal gain to what he gave to others. I cannot imagine a better life than to fly onwards knowing that you helped relieve anguish, pain, and gave others lines to follow for a better life and afterlife. Very cool.

Either it is all fact, the very mind of God revealed to man, or, it is a compounded book of lies. They are all complementary and cohesive. Many of the books of the old testament give very detailed descriptions of ancient cultures and their way of life. Maybe you should do research and read the book closely instead of take on the unfounded argument that the bible was written by some group of evil men sitting in a dark room.

I Agree.. too many people are following the giude of someone elases beliefs rather than look for the true meaning themselves..

"Either"? "Either" it is all "fact" or a "book of lies"? I don't accept your "either/or" option, however if forced to choose: it's a book of lies. It's very definitely definitely NOT "all fact."
