Republicans were elected on a mandate of "stop spending" and smaller government. Congress has robbed social security and treasury is right now robbing government pensions. Personally I feel default would be good, very painful in the short term but in the long term would result in energy independence and solve employment resulting in a stronger more durable economy. This mainly because we would need to replace a false government funded economy with a real private one.
No raise for the last 2 years now probley no raise next year I know my drugs have to be splt to make them last and some meds can not be split . Its a sorry state
