I'm in 7th grade and about a year ago I started watching the UFC with guys like GSP, Anderson Silva, Jon Jones and all those guys. After I saw UFC Unleashed on SpikeTV I become obsessed with MMA. I've been training in Muay Thai for damn near a year and GSP is my main role model, after seeing him become the WW champion as a freakin kid compared to the other fighters I've developed an attitude that whatever he can do, I can do it too.

@GHRepresent thats untrue,the gi is irrelevant to mma.The fact that a lot of mma guys do train in a gi at some time reflects the fact that the best ground instruction is found in bjj and those instructors often perpetuate the gi philosophy.I do however think that the gi makes escapes harder .Many mma champs have either never or very rarely put on the gi.

many of them have, at least the guys that rely on grapping and submissoins. unless they are wrestlers or strikers. at least most of champs if not all are gi black belts

Nope. It just goes along with being respectful of the position that you hold, with him signing major athletic deals and stuff like that, he has to carry himself well. I think it's more appropriate to say that he carries himself like a great champion. He doesn't talks smack about people, he respects all fighters that he comes across, he trains hard for every fight, etc.

GSP is the 2nd best P4P, only bc hes so young and way behind on experience compared to most other fighters, hes 27 and won the WW belt TWICE b4 he was 27 OUCH!!! in a year or two GSP will be the best P4P fighter, possible that ever lived depending on if hes 100% healthy and mentaly and if he is.... I feel bad for the other fighters who will have to fight this machine, 4 all u fans check out his resume his been in the UFC only 4 yrs and look at who he has beatin, no one can compare to that, no1
