I have this game, and I loaded it on my (new) PC an then after about 3 mins into campaign mode it just freezes and then crashes... whats wrong with it?? Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

i know this may sound a bit 'call centre' but have you tried uninstalling it and re-installing, sometime games can somehow F*** up when intalling missing data that needed to be installed. that could be the problem f you were doing other things on the pc at the time (listening to music and such).

a GOOD tyranid mod? who knows? nids really aren't set up well for this format, so without the actual developer working on a way to put them in while leaving them nid'ish, it could be quite a while

monoliths have great fire power but they too take awhile to recharge and it only really works well against infantry, not saying that its weak but i sent a monolith into a base of IG and it kicked ass but it got destroyed as well.

because its very, very slow, almost too slow and it teleportation ablility dosen't go very far its actualy quite vanerable. its only its attack that makes it powerafull

The Monolith's firepower makes up for the slow movement, and what's more, it can produce all units cuz it's your friggin HQ!

You can place the monolith near your enemies's bases, and then spawn an entire army right in front of them! I know it's teleportation takes forever, but when you think of it as a moving, heavy armored and armed building, that can teleport and produce units, it seems fair to me...

yea but it can't use its teleportation unless it is at full health or near full health.

besides flying would be more for looks because there are very few units in DOW that don't have ranged attack and even if you placed it beside enemy base their going to do everything they can to destroy it and they will likely have an army waiting for it.

not a bad plan i like it but these are the flaws (like the fact that the it has a very hard time ESCAPING!!)

I certainly hope they have a storyline for each race, but seeing as that means the programmers will have to create about 10 stories each with so many levels, I reckon it will be like Dark Crusade which in my opinion, sucked big time.

I for one am happy they chose to bring in the Dark Elves, although, the Sisters of Battle on the hand are not so cool. They are like the dumb Space Marines, but chicks. Woopie...

When are you guys going to learn; Dawn of War will never have Tyranids because the developers have said and resaid with the release of Winter Assault and the Dark Crusade that Tyranids are not an option. Because... the DoW engine will not do them justice, it would over torque the program and not run properly. You have to think, Tyranids are massive, they are like a freaking ant hill and DoW is just not setup like that.
