  • I'd rather be using a front end loader to feed the compactor, seems too time consuming using a grapple, don't seem to get much held in each lift either. Compactor is bloody slow alright, I'd die watching that thing all day lol Also about the floor needing to be cleared each day, you saying all material must be packed in containers ready for transfer? Neat footage!!!

    Yes, it would be a lot quicker to use a front end loader on the compactor, but this is being used to fill a bin at the other end of the warehouse. There is not a lot of room in this place either. Getting a front end loader to move around the compactor would be rather difficult.

    And yes, all materiel needs to be in containers ready for transfer. It is one of the terms of lease on the warehouse building being used. If there is rubbish to be left on the floor over night, the regional council needs to be informed as to how much and reasons why it is to be left there.
