  • Its sound is just that of the F1 machines. No supercars in history have ever sounded as astonishing as this one. It's got that V-10 grunt, but is never harsh unlike any other whether it be a ZR1 or a 599 GTO. I can feel how sophisticated this car is just by listening to it.

  • I never understand why people would compare the ZR! to any other supercar. The ZR1 doesn't belong in the same category as the LF-A, Ferrari, Lambo, or GTR. There's nothing special about the ZR1. It's just another Corvette on the road. It's cheaply built with tax payers money and it's mostly plastic. Sure its got a powerful engine and it even copy Ferrari with it's glass engine cover. But there is no quality in design and reliability. No originality...but a wanna be..PERIOD..the end!!!

  • @iceman5815 you are such an idiot! do a little research on the ZR1 before you rant about it. The reason it has that little glass engine cover is they had to keep the height of the hood low so you can see the apex but be able to house the tower of power.

If the entire thing was made of carbon fibre then it would be 20k more! The Zr1 is faster than the LFA, 12 sec to be exact on the nurburgring.They are all good cars and a real enthusiast would enjoy them all. Until you stop piloting your little honda celica, SHUT you  mouth, Iceman Hahaha.

  • You can say what you want about the LFA. Its a supercar with luxury. They made this car to compare with Ferraris and Lambos. And how much do those cost? way more.. Doing the Nurburgring in under 8 mins is pretty damn good. If you havent noticed the past 30 years its all been toyota to make the best reliable cars, their sales prove it. I'd still get a GTR or NSX but the LFA is badass.

    The LFA cost a lot because its got a original state of the art 4.8 v10 that is the size of a v8 and weighs as much as a v6 and revs faster and better than a 4 cylinder car. Its the new tech that went to building it that makes it expensive. Its the emotin you feel when driving it. Hell the LFA i bet would feel like driving a space ship, and that noise.. yum! zr1 is nice, but so are apples.

And if the engine is so "state of the art" then why does Chevy warranty the ZR-1 for longer (much longer)??? If I were in a vette and you the Lexus I wouldn't care less what you car sounded like cause it would be behind me!! And so you know, the LFA weighs about 85 lbs less then the vette. Yet the vette has almost TWICE the torque!! (354lb/ft vs 604lb/ft)!!

I loved the GT-R until someone in Nissan decided to go gay and change the bad-ass frontend into a "friendly" frontend which IMO looks horrible... Previous GT-Rs had badass frontends.. My fave car is the NSX, I'd take one of those over a Veyron, a Ferrari, a Lambo or any other car on earth... but right now I'd take the LF-A over the NSX without thinking twice...

  • Most everything made by Honda in the engine department sucks balls. Also the LF-A Will not retain the wing or any of the aero diffusers. The wheels will not be magnesium and the hubs will be star format.

The body is like foil paper and the chassis is about as rigid as jello. funny part is my buddy went to go pick up his new engine for his Old MR2 and his ridgeline's transmission went out when we were bringing it back home.
