  • I used this song on a paranormal investigation of a theatre, and sparked TONS OF ACTIVITY!

  • cant you guy stop arguing and enjoy the music

  • nice.... bravo!!

  • i adore this one :)

  • food for the soul

  • The two ladies are the Countess and her maid Susanna. They are writing a letter to the Count to arrange a meeting in the night time. He is pursuing Susanna and wants to 'have' her on her marriage night to Figaro. Susanna and the Countess expose and shame him and he is forgiven by the Countess. All ends happily and the music is sublime.

  • These two ladies, mother and daughter, are singing about the wedding of the daughter to Figaro. There is a short in English, but you will have to hunt for it on UTube.

  • @StephNE601 They are not mother and daughter. Figaro does not have a daughter. Obviously, his non-existent daughter is not going to marry. They are singing, as said by grotmx, about writing a letter to the count.

Why would anybody write such collection of invented non-funny facts?

  • Rock Shawshank, Amadeus :)

  • Maybe one of these days I will understand what is said between these two because I'm planning to learn that beautiful language

  • Sull'aria duet

  • Mozart gave us the music in us!

  • To this day I have no idea what those two Italian ladies were singing about. And truth be told, I don't want to know. Some things are best left unsaid. I'd like to believe it was about something so beautiful it can't be expressed in words. And your heart aches because of it.

  • @deloreanman14 -was quite a scene,

  • @deloreanman14 What's funny about that is it was sang using words. LOL But I guess dumb Americans would not know how to speak Italian therefore they would not consider it an language.

  • @npadul30 lol you're a dumb fuck. just because MOST Americans don't know Italian, dosen't mean we don't concider it a language...fucker.

  • @derschnitzelman And your a nigger ass bitch. I was just saying that if most people can't do something then they consider that something as not important and stupid.

  • Your a fucking wanker since most people don't think that it's important.

  • @deloreanman14 the film and that quote especially is sooo fuckin potent

  • @deloreanman14 I tell you, those voices soared higher and farther than anybody in a gray place dares to dream. It was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage and made those walls dissolve away, and for the briefest of moments, every last man in Shawshank felt free.

  • @Saint666ist Pissed the warden off something awful though. Any spent 2 weeks in the hole for that little stunt.
