@dangerzone24 It's not the drivers' fault - they hate them more than we do. It's simple economics for poor owners: they use the money NASCAR pays for fielding the (start-and-park) car to make their other car better, in hopes of making more money placing the better car higher in the finish. BTW, I should have captured yesterday's cup race (8/1/2010), because one car was broken into 3 major pieces - one of them being the engine setting all by itself. Incredible head-on impact!
That second view with all the sound they got from the microphones...God I can barely watch that. I'm a fan that hates accidents (too much work goes into those cars) and this one is a pretty unnerving one especially when you're hearin all of it.
what do you call a person who starts a car, drives it a little bit, and then parks it? A chauffeur? Not a racer. End start-and-parks!
