Martha316 -- you are the eagle eye of my videos! This week I released a video where I talked about not starting a speech with "hi my name is" yet I did it right here! Why? Because this isn't a speech. It's a video. People who see it haven't been introduced to me - there's certainly no emcee. There is no event planner marketing me prior to people coming to see the video, as would be the case with a speech. So with different contexts, there are different rules of what's acceptable and works.
