Beholders. Those annoying, floating eye things which Kahn controls. Normal beholders (without flame resistance, etc.), usually create a blue blast of light beneath them. They instantly kill minions, and there is often at least one when you're trying to kill him. They go on a route over the area where you needto direct your greens (so they can leap on Kahn). Glad to hear she got em' though. He's harder than the Wizar- whoops, did I spoil anything?

Megan, you're right. I know! I can't set the shutter speed on the DV camera we have; I learned from the Resistance video especially- if I point it towards the television and it's under 1/60sec you get that bar effect. MTV used a clamshell DV recorder to tape the direct A/V from the console, so that's why it always looked crisp. I have no idea how much they are though, and I'm poor ;)

you should have less problems if you hook the 360 to an LCD. they render differently, so you won't get the weird scan lines.

Just have to find a 360 VGA cable.

Also, if you get said cable, you should be able to split the signal, vidcap it, and make a nice "picture in a picture" of the game.

The video camera is just a Sony DCR-HC21 Handycam, but it works pretty well for us. I can't complain. The photos on the blog are taken with a Nikon D100 DSLR with various lenses and speedlights.  I'm still paying for that system ;)

Thanks! I can't make videos as often as we'd all like because when she's really good at a game she doesn't typically say much, and that doesn't make for a good video. So I have to wait until she's somewhere where's she's genuinely frustrated and pissed off, and then not get in her way when I'm moving the camera to different spots.

I'm down to maybe 5 cigarettes a day. I don't know if I can quit completely, this is a bitch. Thanks for remembering!
