I have this same thing! When I was his age I had to wear a patch! Anyways I made a video showing my "jaw wink"! I hope you have good luck and it's good to know im not the only on!

There is a surgery to help with the drooping of the eye. It's called a Bi-lateral sling. Check out Dr.Nicholas Iliff (no joke thats his name)Johns Hopkins Wilmers Eye Inst. He did my surgery in 1979. I was his 1st patient with Marcus Gunn ,at the time there were no surgeries so he came up with one. It worked great on the drooping & the winking decreases. Its a correction not a cure though and the surgery must be repeated every so often bcuz the sling looses it's elasticity.

Thank you for posting this video. My son is 2 and he shows the same cute eye wink. We call it his winking eye. He gets lots of girl attention. I am going to my doctor and we are going to finally have something to go on. Thanks again and what a CUTIE!!!!!!

@cardiffguy85 Great to hear you survived childhood with MG! LOL! Yeah, we are really avoiding any surgeries right now. If Julian opts for it later in life, so be it. Our main concern is his vision which is great at the moment. He get's patched 4 hrs a day. He's a tiny little guy, he's going to be my jockey!

@shinnpick I'm Nikki 35yrs old. I was diagnosed with Marcus Gunn when I was a few months old. There were no surgeries in for it but in 1979 when i was 3 I was lucky enough to find an amazing surgeon at Johns Hopkins(Dr.Nicholas Iliff,check him out) who created a surgery called a Bi-lateral Sling to help correct(not cure) my condition . The sling helps with the drooping of the eye.
