I feel the he alone has captures the sound so popular from what a NWOBHM band is and should be and beyound. Absolutely my favorite guitarist. Never brags, just plays.
@EduardoAllo Met him a few days ago. He is still in top shape on the stage, considering he is almost 60 years old. In the 80's he was young, in his mid 30's. Time goes by. Out of Graham and Paul, Paul was and still is my favourite guitarplayer in Saxon (though both are great of course). He is not wasted, Paul quit the hard booze years ago, he seems laidback. He is Saxon's main lyricist too, and one hell of acomplished one too. Rock on! \m/
@SilverTounge85 don´t take me wrong...my english is so bad, never meant Mr. Paul was "wasted" in the bad sense of the word. I have seen them live several times. Still belive he is one of the greatest, making those giant riffs, and that master and "bluesy" touch playin´ the solos (even I don´t understand why they let Doug makin solos so much, cause Paul is by far, superior...well...) He will be always, to me, the Heay Metal Guitar God
@SilverTounge85 Maybe this will help you. I asked him once about that and he truly plays and lives for playing the guitar live of course. He is no big time boozer. He is in complete control of himself.
You gotta take command over your voice. Louder, speak english so that everyone who speaks english can understand you. Even Paul could not understand you. I'm gonna subscribe for a while. I do like you and the interviews, just trying to help your skills. This coming from someone who used to do this at VH-1.
