have you had any problem with your 940 with blade wobble (minimal) when deployed? any fix? i use mine many times a day every day so it might be regular ware and tear but id love to get that factory sturdyness back.....i do absolutely LOVE this knife tho and i would never buy anything but benchmade.....even though the Marine Core will issue me something else haha
I have not owned the 710 but it looks like a great knife. One reason I would pick the 940 over it though is because of the S30V in the 940. If you are around water or moist environments D2 can somtimes be suspeptible to rust/corroision. But I like the way the 710 looks and you probably cant go wrong with it. A little bigger knife I also like made out of D2 is the Bone Collector.
those 940s are super sweet!!! that maybe the only benchmade im interested in. i call those bags weiner warmers. i dont think ive ever seen the backspacer on a 940. good show man. now ive seen it. what a nice touch. ive never tried out the axis lock. maybe i could start with a griptilian. you could open it with the flea flicker. put your middle finger on the thumbstud on the opposite side of your thumb. and grip the handle with your thumb and palm of your hand. then flick your middle finger outup
@PavlovSandor Thanks for the comment, I would highly recommend this one and would get this over a Griptilian any day of the week, reasons why is you will get a better steel and its easier to use and its not as big. I would just save your money and apply it to this one, you wont regret it.
its AX-IS. not ACCESS- lock
