I saw this match a few months ago on ESPN Classic and I was eerily fascinated by this guy Rev. Willie Pappas. Was he a real reverrend? He sure did not look like one with all those tattoos.
I think Triple H must have gotten his ideas about extended squash matches from watching this bout. Only thing is, Triple H did it against actual wrestlers, not tomato cans like the Reverend Willie Pappas.
The way DeBeers punishes his prey makes me crazy. Methodical and slow, as a great heel should. I could only wish I was the one being punished in this match as finding heels here in Fla. is no easy task. Any heels out there like DeBeers who enjoy working a willing jobber over? Into it all, hard, heavy brutal and as real as the heel wants to go.
Also the run to the turnbuckle after 2:35, followed by a punch to the face!
