Amazing...I forget how many takes they took for it. Does anyone remember a car ad a year or so ago where an old car was going into the crusher, and its entire life flashed in front of you? It showed people going to the prom with the car, etc. then those people had kids of their own and passed the car on to the kids. I can't find it anywhere. It was kind of similar to the "reincarnation" ad from Mercedes... Can anyone help? Thx!

It is not animation, all painstakingly set up over days following 4 months of pre production, it took over 600 takes to get it right and the only "effect" required was an enhancement of the lighting.Its called Cog and was released in 2003 to advertise the new Honda Accord. and the voice over artist is Garrison Keillor.

This video was not computer generated. It was filmed in real time with exactly 606 takes to get it to work just right. Don't believe me? To answer the tire problem, the tires were fitted with weights inside them and positioned properly to roll up the ramp. I would like to explain that in detail, but I do not have enough character count to do that. Keeping that in mind, doesn't this commercial seem much cooler and amazing? Also, that music was added in. The original only had the end music.
