@Trollfest23 Dude the plot in MK is a joke and could perfectly be a power rangers movie...I love MK, i play it daily and I played MK1 when i was a kid all day but please. Even the developers must laugh at the plot which really doesn't matter in a fighting game it's all about the gameplay and mechanics. Judging a fighting game for it's plot is pointless.

Mortal Kombat has Blood, Gore, Fatality's, ect. SF and Tekken don't have any of those. The themes of the games wouldn't fit at all.

Removing blood from MK would piss off everyone just like MKvDC did lol.

@iTeriyakid To be honest I think MKvsSF could work. I mean, sure MKvsDC was a total bust but I think that's because they were trying to keep their T rating. I mean, DC is super heroes and villains, it had Batman and Superman, they had to be SOMEWHAT kid-friendly.

I could see SF characters, if pushed to the brink, going all out and bludgeoning the sh*t out of an MK character.

No place gives you extra on trade in for it and I didn't have many people I knew to play against in the first place. Just seems like a rip to the MvC community on Capcom's part. But as long as they keep making the sales they want I just come to expect it of them and will take my time on any fighters they put out from here on.

Not just the MvC community, but just Capcom in general lol. They did it to several of their games.

But at least it isn't like the CoD franchise where it's basically entirely the same game every year, and they still manage to get sells still at $60. I'm glad Capcom lowers their prices when they release a super version.

@iTeriyakid I let Street Fighter slide because I had never previously owned a street fighter game, got SSF4 for free and traded it in for AE. So to me wasn't bad. But the MvC was a total screw over to everyone who bought it when it first came out. But you're right thats how Capcom wants to roll. I don't play CoD or any of it's real world clones at all

I only rented MvC3, then wanted it. But didn't get it, so it worked out for me lol.

I also heard they closed the servers down for MvC3 so they can't play online. Basically forcing their fanbase to get UMvC3. Capcom knows business, but the rip off kind.

And good, don't even bother. They've repeated the same game for years now. FPS games are beyond repetitive.

But that's besides the point. I'm gonna go on UMvC3 and get my ass kicked online. Woohoo...

Things like that I don't own many of them though. I'll get it when price drops significantly. Or someone gets it for me as a gift. For now I'll be finishing the Mass Effect and Uncharted Series

@DarkScorpionOmega I wouldn't, the two completely different styles wouldn't mix very well. One is gritty and violent, the other is cartoonish and actiony. Not to mention they both play very differently, it would be difficult to make a fighting system that would work with players from both series

he's not always losing. if u play as him in the game with the knowledge of his skills, he's one of the best. cant overestimate that freeze move. its just that, in advertisements, he loses, he's the foil to showcase the other character's moves. for example, scorpion is Ed Boon, the creator's favorite character. so, in the advertisements, Sub-Zero will always lose to scorpion too.
