I really enjoy broadening my musical horizons and of late I have been delving into this genre. I've always enjoyed bands like KMFDM and such, but it's like anything.. you have to dig deeper to find the true gems. Great band here, love the beats.. and instead of listening to something depressing when sad.. I have the option of coming to this music. With lyrics that may mirror the way I'm feeling, but a beat and music that makes me feel otherwise. Fabulous stuff!

Futurepop was a term created by Ronan Harris of VNV Nation to describe his mix of Trance,synth and EBM(Mislabelled). If memory serves correctly then he coined the term in 1995. Following VNV's new sound, a lot of other artists begun to pick up similar sounds which provides evidence to the emergence of a new genre.

I have been listening this genre for years, if you like code 64 you will probably like my top 10 list (not really in any specific order) 1: VNV Nation 2:Assemblage 23 3:De/Vision 4:Seabound 5:Colony 5 (yes I know someone mentioned it) 6: Mind.in.a.box 7:Absurd Minds 8:Wolfsheim 9:Funker Vogt 10:Combichrist(not for everyone) I know this is just my list and it doesn't apply to everyone, But I really hope it helps someone find similar music that they will enjoy =)
