this game was rad

but got kinda repetitive once you got good. surfing was actually a lot easier once you realized how it worked. it works like real surfing. it's really slow to go down, and really fast to go up with the wave, so you had to find a medium between going down and right without hitting people and without flying up over the wave.

My buddy told me at lvl 100 on skating there was a halfpipe competition...WTF??? LVL 100!!! that is insane. I got so far that another skater was with me racing me...fsck lvl 100..but yes legend has it that there is a halfpipe at the end..I need to see this.

I remember the LEGEND OF PLAYING ON THE HALF PIPE , it was all the rage on the playground, but I was told it was after LVL 15, and I remember making it to LVL 14 and dying, LOL was sooo pissed!

Me too. I loved this game and somewhat remember the day my friend Micheal got it. We were at soccer practice and I think that his mom went out and bought it for him. Either way, it was there in the car when we were leaving practice. :)

I don't have audio on this PC ATM but I can just hear the audio track from the surfing level and the level complete screen; all of those points/coins tallying up. Good times.

I loved this game.. I played it everyday.. The skating part was the fun part.. like the Guy said.. You try to do anything with the surfing..and you die..*LOL*.. but you got to be a cat in a Tux... So I guess it's a win win situation *L*

This is one of my favorite NES games ever. The surfing part was easy once you get the hang of it. But yes - the skating was the fun part. Very underrated.

I remember as a kid choosing this game at Children's Palace.It was probably the worst game choice I have ever made next to ''Mystery Quest''.The skateboard thing was probably fun for some people but not me.I never got past the 2nd level.Forget about the Surfing levels,This review shows how poorly designed they were.Even as an adult I still cant play this dang game
