Listen... I may be a die-hard Sounders season ticket holder, but even I can appreciate the Timbers Army. More than wins or losses for my team, I just wanna see the league flourish. And, by the way, Portlandia is a pretty funny show...
Please keep this passion always at the highest level, it'll take you far. I haven't been to Portland yet, but it seems like a wonderful city! One day I'll be on these terraces sharing the emotion and bearing my Coritiba green-and-white jersey to add to the atmosphere! My greatest regards from Curitiba, Brazil.
Not many people understand the love for football. As a supporter of a green-and-white team, I started following the Timbers through Flickr and Youtube and, as a Brazilian, I can say with no hesitation that you guys know what it's all about! Feel free to browse through my videos and see how we do it here in Southern Brazil.
And what an absolutely sensational documentary, congrats on the great work!
@ThisIsJayred Funny how we were louder than your 36k fans in Shittle this year with only 500 of us at Qworst. Feel free to watch the replay, and blame it on the shitty pitch again though.
@ThisIsJayred The flounders didn't sing at all until 2009. Where were all of you in 2001? oh wait. There were only 20 of them. You are just a bunch of glory hunters and the moment the flounders have a bad season you won't hesitate go go back to watching Manchester United win it's title every year.
@Headcheezonium oh yes. your 8 thousand NASL fans is something to be proud of... your argument is pointless. every city had shitty USL and NASL attendance. most English clubs see a better attendance when in the top league anyhow. your also forgetting that your city only had 1 professional sport, whereas Seattle had 3.
@NickBigsmoke The flounders can only dream of having support as good as Portland. You may have 67,000 glory hunters, But compared to 20,000 real fans, they're worthless.
@Headcheezonium i hope you some day talk shit about the actual team rather than the supporters. its clear that the cascadia teams have the best support. why do you have to be a whinny little bitch and talk about worthless statistics. you can go ahead and praise your precious timbers, but no one will care if your team continues to play like shit.
Some of these fans should come to Lawrence, Kansas when you come to KC on Wednesday. Lawrence is about 25 minutes west of LivestrongPark and it will probably remind you of Portland. I've never been to Portland, but many people compare the two. Best college town in the country and has a great bar and music scene. It's worth checking out. We worship KU basketball like you all do for the Timbers. Respect from Kansas! Rock Chalk.
this is neat

This comment has received too many negative votes show
You only sing when you're winning. Nuff said ECS all day. And too bad the sounders date back to 70's in the NASL, haha ignorant logs xD

@NickBigsmoke I'm not even a Portland fan, I'm an Union fan. SOB's and Timbers Army are brothers and don't you flounders forget that.

unlike flounders fans Timbers Army have been here decades prior to the MLS ; )
