Yeah, there's a good number of pokemon that can't Belly Drum and run priority. Only notable ones that can actually use it I can recall are BellyDrum/BulletPunch Hariyama, and the special Zigzagoon from Pokemon Box: Ruby/Sapphire comes with Extreme Speed and can learn Belly Drum.

Despite that, didn't end up saving them, so no real harm done and they'll know better now. Good battle!

@Creolelite With Egg moves You need the father of the pokemon to have all the egg moves at the same time to be able to give them to the children. Since no other pokemon in the Maril family's egg group can have Belly Drum and Aqua Jet at the same time, Maril can't either.

I ran the damage calcs on Porygon2, and assuming it was the standard build, Choice Scarf Adamant Flare Blitz does 43.32% - 51.34%, so I'm sure you would have been able to take it out.

If you switch an Espeon/Xatu into a status move from another Espeon/Xatu it bounces it back to the initial user of that status move. I was kinda hoping it would bounce back and forth forever.
